I always found mixed gender sports pretty funny. On average women just aren't as athletic as men. Of course there are stand-outs but if you take the best men of any sport and pin them against the best women, there just isn't any competition. In a lot of cases, highly ranked highschool boys teams will beat international women's teams in a given sport. The gap between athletic ability of men and women is absolutely huge. Of course, there's nothing wrong with that, it's just the way it is.

This isn't how it works. They don't just say "please admit you did this" and it happens. The prosecutors gave him a deal that if he admitted to the molestation he would go for "time served". The reason the prosecutors did this is to save face. They know they fucked up and if they were to admit being completely wrong, they'd all likely lose their jobs for putting an innocent man in jail when there was no evidence. Nothing has changed in Canadian policy regarding refugees. Canada has always prioritized (in this order) children, women, men accompanied by families, men solo. The reasoning behind this is that the most vulnerable people are taken out of harm's way first. Remember that the environment the refugees are coming from is much different than western countries and women and children are preyed on much more than they are here.
