You met in person, spent time with each other and turns out you are not his cup of tea (putting it nicely). What turned him off? Well, one can only guess. He probably doesn't want to hurt your feelings. There is a good chance that this type of event will happen again so doesn't take it so hard.

Probably won't work out unless of course he doesn't talk to his parents and never visits them.

Yes! Spot on. People do change over time. That is what we are supposed to do i.e. mature and improve like wine or fine cheese. Can you imagine being 45 years old physically but 19 20 or 21 mentally or spirituality? Arrested development is not a good thing.

She is too bright to select a much younger love interest and would select a person who is more "matured" (imo).

Well she certainly has the brains in the family and given the fact that she is a lawyer/barrister and being such by definition is um...uh... let us say she is assertive. As for who wears the pants in the family I would say Mr. Clooney probably makes the executive decisions and I base my opinion on two things: 1) he has a ton of that Oceans 11 cash floating around along with years of ER which I think is still in $undulations plus other businesses he owns or has interest in. 2) I met him once on K…

Really? Yoga? The two of you got to go to a strip club and have side by side lap dances. It will probably freak him right out of his head with you being there. At the end of the day you and he will walk out of there holding hands and you will know you have nothing to be jealous about.

Simple. You wrote that he doesn't give a shit what you do. If this is correct then tell him to pissoff. You don't need his crap.

Eccentric btw is is very cool (imo). Also, you have to learn to love yourself before you can love someone else. Don't be too concerned with what others want if they can't deal then the can take a hike.

And STOP calling yourself a slob because imo there is something to the idea of manifestation.

Why exactly do you want to change? Is it just for the sake of trying something different and superficial like a makeover?

Maybe his folks are loaded and maybe he still lives at home and has disposable income. Maybe he has a bunch of bitcoin. He is 20, trying to impress you, treating you nice AND you have a problem with this? Would you prefer he behaved like a jerk and get into your pants then treat you like crap? Unbelievable! You have been with this kid for only a month and wondering if he has been prudently managing his portfolio and how big the ring will be. That's ponderous man...just ponderous. Well anyway, do…
