Anyone else confused by feminists telling us that crying isnt bad?Honestly, as a man, when I see dudes cry on like those reality TV dating shows, I feel like they are pathetic. Crying over significant loss or grief? Sure! But this idea that men should cry over the most mundane and trivial of issues??? Please.... give me a break. I don't buy the idea that women want a man like that. Then again, the world is kinda different now and definitions of man seem to be all over the place...lol. | /r/MensRights | 06/03/25 08:30 PM
USA: Glamorous Texas teacher, 35, raped boy she met at her school, police sayI take it your childhood is not allowing you to see and read things properly. Since you have some challenges, I will help you. I SAID: "Taps into some of my ASOLESCENT fantasies." Trust me, you loser, my current fantasies are way worse than that. | /r/MensRights | 01/03/25 12:02 PM
| -7 | USA: Glamorous Texas teacher, 35, raped boy she met at her school, police sayYou lost me. When did I ever say that those fantasies should be encouraged as reality. Of course a teen should not sleep with a teacher!! That's what makes it a FANTASY. Slow group here. | /r/MensRights | 01/03/25 01:59 AM |
USA: Glamorous Texas teacher, 35, raped boy she met at her school, police sayWho ever said I still had them? I suggest you slow down and read more carefully instead of projecting your own ideas on others. | /r/MensRights | 01/03/25 01:57 AM
| -4 | USA: Glamorous Texas teacher, 35, raped boy she met at her school, police sayFinding it genuinely interesting that a previous comment of mine acknowledging my teenage fantasy of sleeping with a teacher has received so many down votes. It is absolutely normal and healthy for a teenage boy, full of raging hormones, to find older women in positions of power, knowledge, or authority as sexually appealing people. Add in the element of them being forbidden, and it's even more of a sexual fantasy. There is NOTHING wrong with teenage boys having such thoughts, knowing it is not … | /r/MensRights | 28/02/25 10:24 PM |
| -23 | USA: Glamorous Texas teacher, 35, raped boy she met at her school, police sayI know it's wrong, but man, that taps into some of my adolescent fantasies!!! | /r/MensRights | 28/02/25 08:28 PM |
Sharing someone’s story about how testosterone affects sexual desire/impulses for FTM who are attracted to womenWelcome to being a male. The opposite has happened to me as I get older. A relief in some ways. The T- driven urges are soooo strong when T is flowing at full speed. | /r/MensRights | 18/02/25 07:14 PM

Ongoing sagaSorry about that. I'll just delete this one. Didn't realize. Thank you. | /r/MensRights | 20/01/24 01:32 AM
Ongoing sagaWeirder and weirder is spot on. It's gotten so crazy, I've gone from anger and worry to just plain laughing at this. 🤣🤣🤪 | /r/MensRights | 19/01/24 10:42 PM
Ongoing sagaWell, just talked to DEI lead, pretending this had happened to someone else. She was very concerned, saying she did not agree whatsoever with what I described and basically describing it as potential discrimination. Was asking me if I knew if this person was comfortable going to either HR or their leader. I said, no...lolololol. Oh... the tangled web we live in. I'm hoping my misery is bringing some tragic laughter to some of you out there. | /r/MensRights | 19/01/24 08:43 PM
Ongoing sagaLol....good point. I actually have a meeting with the head of DEI later today. Will be asking her in a very discreet, round about kind of way what she would recommend if she heard a staff member call another "cocky" and whether she sees a significant difference from "bitchy." Of course she will not know it's about me, but I'm curious to hear her expert opinion. | /r/MensRights | 19/01/24 06:32 PM
Outcome of work investigationLolol....yeah. I wonder. Lots and lots. Oh well...gotta get over the anger and move on. Can't let this shit get the best of me. | /r/MensRights | 17/01/24 09:30 PM
Outcome of work investigationFair question and indeed the optics are tricky. In short, the medical director (male) is chief of the department (that's his title, btw, not an insensitive term). He advised that him and I meet before anyone else so we can be careful on how to address risk issues with the broader team and unit leadership group (I'm risk manager). Him and I would meet and agree on a careful and respectful plan on when and how to engage others, making sure not to get their backs up (part of my role also means flag… | /r/MensRights | 17/01/24 12:30 PM
This subreddit is not going to fix anythingI tried to be vocal at work around some false baseless accusations of gender bias. HR basically told me to stay quiet. | /r/MensRights | 17/01/24 02:26 AM
Final update on work accusationsHa!!! I love this!!! Thank you. And yes, I've been moping around all paranoid and shit. Fuck it, ur right!! They are in the wrong and who gives a shit what they think about me. Want to fire me because I'm "too confident"? Go to town. I like your suggestion of doubling down on the cockiness (not even sure how) but no more of this head down business. Thank you! | /r/MensRights | 12/01/24 10:55 AM
Final update on work accusationsThanks, mate. I'm senior management. All on my own here!! 😬 | /r/MensRights | 12/01/24 10:52 AM
Final update on work accusationsActually, I'm considered good looking and women at work have often come on to me (previous jobs). Interestingly, one of my good colleagues (female) I was sharing this with even said this may be happening partly because of my looks. Confident and put together seems to somehow be more threatening. Who knows though, mate, I'm at a complete loss. To clarify, short and good looking....lol. Only 5'8", 47, Latin American decent, muscular, and healthy head of hair. Now this is sounding like a dating pro… | /r/MensRights | 12/01/24 10:51 AM
False claims of gender bias at workAdded it to my original post. 🙂 | /r/MensRights | 04/01/24 11:55 AM
Update on work accusationsAfter all these years, I'm still learning that. I have a pretty gregarious, open personality. So... being that dull is just so much effort. And, when many actually like my personality, it's sad to have to crush it just because of the fear of a few. Thank you. | /r/MensRights | 03/01/24 09:37 PM
Update on work accusationsIndeed. This is the sad reality of our world right now. Our ability (dare I argue need) to be human, genuine, warm, personable, funny, light, and vulnerable has been ruined by the excessive mandate to be irrationally sensitive to a minority of overly fragile people. It's a sad day when we consider each other boneheads for not conducting ourselves as if with a grandmother. It is this kind of rhetoric that vilifies normal human interactions rather than striving for balance, tolerance, and personal… | /r/MensRights | 03/01/24 03:27 PM
Update on work accusationsThanks, man. I swear, I feel like I'm going crazy sometimes. Appreciate the support and welcome other perspectives to make sure I keep learning. Cheers. | /r/MensRights | 02/01/24 11:46 PM
False claims of gender bias at workThoughts on my update? Double standards like this leave me more confused. Perhaps my story was out of line, but I honestly felt it was a 'cute' story in the context of a family dinner. | /r/MensRights | 02/01/24 04:41 PM
False claims of gender bias at workAnd therein lies the problem. I have no idea what I'm being accused of, and thus have nothing to reflect or learn from. I have no problem adapting. For example, I have caught myself referring to a group of people as "guys" and quickly correct it...just habit and still a colloquial term. But... without this, it just leaves me paralyzed and afraid. If the intent of these people was NOT for the feedback to get back to me, NOT to formally complain to HR, NOT to open up lines of communication, and NO… | /r/MensRights | 30/12/23 12:51 PM
False claims of gender bias at workAw, man, ....sounds amazing. Count your blessings while we continue to walk on eggshells around here. FFS!!! Cheers, mate. | /r/MensRights | 28/12/23 03:55 PM
False claims of gender bias at workYes, that is fair and I will consider that. I tend to be more aware of gender sensitivities with females, perhaps wrongly so. It's a hard balance between recognizing the different dynamics between men yet the need to treat everyone the same. Again though, I legit work with like 2 men in an otherwise totally female environment, so that keeps it clean and simple. And by respect, of course I don't mean I disrespect men..lol. It's just always more of a 'dude' vibe...in a professional way, obviously.… | /r/MensRights | 28/12/23 02:49 PM
False claims of gender bias at workI really like this approach! Especially with ZERO examples? The jumping to conclusions is purely based on MY gender. Thanks for this great perspective. | /r/MensRights | 28/12/23 02:39 PM
False claims of gender bias at workThanks, man. I generally trust my boss and she confirmed today she has never seen such indications of those behaviors in the 4 years working together (that's why this is all bullshit..). But, I agree, she should have never allowed this to develop if she was not willing to do some fact finding first. Ur right..totally feels like harassment when not a single example can be identified. | /r/MensRights | 28/12/23 03:04 AM
