Just to play devil's advocate, couldn't the fact that you mainly hear about the mother neglecting the child be because the mother more often is the primary caregiver? If the dad's neglectful then the mother just gets the kid, but if the mother's neglectful the system can enable her to still do shit like this. The system is broken for sure, but I just wanted to offer a potential explanation for the imbalance in frequency.

I don't tar everyone in the sub with that brush, but the problem is rife in this sub. Looking to be a victim, and looking to complain about women. This post isn't doing the latter, but those two are the main problem with this sub and sometimes with the men's rights movement in general, in my opinion. I suppose feminism has the same problems. What was once a campaign for equality has often wound up punishing men and victimising women, and I think that's a result of the same sort of thinking.

In the UK, there were 300 SIDS cases in 100,000 live births source. Assuming the US's figures aren't too different, they only need 7/300 deaths to be attributable to circumcision, which is roughly 2%. This number may seem high to you, but it is in line with results of multiple studies into the phenomenon. How much evidence do you need to be convinced against this barbaric practice? I say coaching because that was what there was the most hubbub around, and I believe is the call which prompted her to say it was unfair. I see you've heard the phrase "correlation does not imply causation" and tried to use it yourself, but you haven't used it correctly at all. Looking at those graphs, I would say that neither type of cancer particularly affects younger people. I also notice that the scales on those graphs are different, with old men being twice as likely to get prostate cancer as old women are to get breast cancer. What do you mean, compliant with what? I said "unfair" because I thought it was generic enough to cover my bases. I agree that it's possible to have some non-positive opinions like your example, without being transphobic. Incidentally, being transgender isn't a mental disorder, it's just a symptom/result of gender dysphoria, which is the mental disorder.

"Transphobic" is so rarely used to refer to actual fear. It's a catch-all term for unfair negative opinions and behaviours towards trans people.

I agree with that, but I think that false accusations are a separate issue. I think that they could be controlled through harsher punishments, societal condemnation of false accusers, and maintaining the anonymity of the accused until they're found guilty. But I think that all of these are a related but separate issue to rape culture itself.

I personally think there's both. Rape is too accepted as the norm in many cultures, such as parts of India, but also in the Western world with things like prison rape being just accepted as inevitable and often deserved. "Rape culture" is often used to justify some gross actions, such as accusing all men of being rapists on some level. But I don't think that the whole concept is flawed.
