Fat people know that their weight comes with health risks. They dont need to be reminded. Body positivity is all about getting fat people to be respected regardless of their health. Honestly, its annoying that every time we talk about fat people and the harassment they get people pop up with "BuT MuH hEaLtH!!1!". There's nothing about being a model that makes it a weight-restricted job. All they have to do is pose or walk a runway, which fat people are perfectly able to do. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean we can exclude a category of people from a job. "Beautiful" is subjective and beauty standards change over time. Fat models are a minority compared to skinny models. That is not an opinion, that is a fact, plain and simple. As for the "fat people need to be on a diet", I'll say it again: its their choice, they don't owe their health to anyone but themselves and they deserve respect like any other person despite their health status.

A couple of magazines do not represent "society as a whole". The "media" are still 99% skinny women. Fat women are still ridiculed, mocked and bullied. Consent to sex is not consent to pregnancy. Forcing me to keep an unwanted pregnancy would be forcing me to give up my bodily autonomy. If I drive somewhere I'm not consenting to be in a car crash just because its a predictable outcome of a specific activity.
