It's a catch-22 because nobody wants to have anything to do with someone that has "nothing else going on" so once you're at this point, F

I've been semi-lurking here for about half a year and this is the smartest post I've seen in this toxic shithole so far, are you sure you're a commie? Too much common sense for one.. Anyway, I think every non-stereotypical-chad living in a country with western culture should see this.. Many realize way too late into their lives that acting like a eunuch won't make anyone happy, not you nor others. Some women will be wary of you just because you're in their vicinity and don't even acknowledge the…

You're putting too much effort arguing with a boomer that has to bribe girls with cocaine to get laid.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/24 05:05 PM
1

You are making up a problem that doesn't exist. The very hot promiscuous girls simply end up with one of the chads they were chasing and the average or lower settle for some beta doormat that has no options anyway and won't care even if she mentions her promiscuous past
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/24 04:10 PM

A lot of guys who are either nice guys or “former” nice guys seem to make this mistake and end up thinking that expressing sexual interest, being assertive, being flirty and light teasing are immoral, for some reason, they’re not It very much is immoral (or at least treated as such, which is functionally the same thing) if you aren't attractive to the person

Where the fuck do you live that everyone is 6,5 lmao even being only 6 I rarely see people taller than me, and the average height here is slightly higher than in the US. Seems like larping I can't imagine a character you've described struggling and whining besides maybe still having to approach

The brutal truth is that most men don't put in much effort to raise their market value, so those few who do seem leagues ahead Agreed, but then you just compete with others in the top% instead of with the lazy plebs lol.

Man you're wasting your breath here, she even outright said that if you're good looking enough it doesn't matter
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 09:22 PM

Yeah, it's probably as simple as that. If you managed to meet at all (except from OLD) then generally it'd already mean you're sociable enough so it'd be irrelevant anyway

Understandable, in my case chasing sex isn't worth it, I'd like a genuine connection but it's too much to ask nowadays apparently. Better luck for the next generation I suppose

Me neither but if it's a fuckton like fully inked from wrists to shoulders then it says something. Have a coworker like that, 21 years old, very assertive and kind, this shit doesn't suit her at all but who am I to tell.

I was depressed and was hurt by the fact that I had to prove myself or be valuable to be loved. So that’s why I didn’t try. It really does suck huh? After losing 20kg (45lbs) I started to get some attention sometimes but I just don't bother and always sabotage it because I know there are dozens and dozens more "icks" I'd have to fix. Yeah you can stop being a fat fuck, get somewhat jacked but it's just the bare minimum anyway, this isn't even an achievement. I'm not even sure why I did that, som…

Well to be fair your experience sounds like that of an attractive social butterfly than whatever op described

Count for what For not liking it if I have no experience with it. You said all straight men should like it which makes no sense, because there definitely are straight women not into sucking dicks.

Instagram is enough for women + every young woman already has 3-4 orbiters anyway. Then why would anyone choose the nerdy awkward guy? Not only are these traits the exact opposite of what's considered attractive but cold-approaching is also risky and needs a ton of confidence to engage in. It's also looks-based for both sides and a guy with a personality like that probably wouldn't be a looker

Does it count if I never did but the idea doesn't sound appealing at all? Of course then it'd be fair not to expect to receive it either

It's less about drinking or not but bars tend to attract a distinct demography that not everyone relates to. Nightclubs even more so

Idk redditors seem to think everyone has a handful of quirky hobbies but from what I've seen irl virtually everyone does nothing but watches tv shows and is addicted to social media, with a sprinkle of shallow hedonism on the weekends like getting wasted as much as possible, preferably hooking up with a rando in the process

I unironically think like that, like I don't even care who is at fault just why fucking now mate I'd prefer to have lead or asbestos in me now than just suffocating in the limbo of the wrong generation

Work night shifts so you can get paid for fucking around in your phone
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 07:37 PM

Although I've "checked out" myself (despite never trying to begin with) it's kinda silly to assume that doing so is some kind of of "revenge" or "getting back" at women. They'd be delighted if anything, whether you try and participate in the shitshow or not doesn't change the result
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 03:42 AM

I think the primary reason is because it's generally assumed that men seek as much sex as possible whilst having little to no standards, at all times. So if you admit to being/it somehow becomes apparent you are one, anyone regardless of gender will immediately think that you've tried many times but there's something very wrong with you, which is why you were never able to achieve something that's so basic to the vast majority of the population. It's considered weirder the older you are, because…

I feel like it's a bit weird that someone could go from obese to fit and see no change in their dating prospects. Oh, that's me. Very simple: there are no third places anymore, I knew that and just got fit for myself. Doesn't matter if women don't know you exist
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 04:08 AM

Have you considered that it might be also because it's allegedly the age they generally get out of their "fun phase"?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 03:40 AM

Depends what one takes from it, getting ripped and making more money definitely will help, plus most of them sound psychopathic which is attractive to women; I imagine it doesn't exclude you considering your aspirations to kill off the majority of the population.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 01:19 AM

Is this supposed to make us envious? I don't think the majority of men are interested in polyamory tbh lol.

Well.. Honestly, I had no idea you've dealt with something like this. Thought it's just regular old bashing of escort clients, but you sure have a good reason to be biased against sex work. I don't believe all of them suffer though, like your ex did. Many treat it as work, no more and no less. Sadly in less developed countries there's a lot of terrible shit going on with trafficking, coercion and whatnot. But this is outside of anyone's control. The least one can do if already engaging with esco…

I refuse to accept arguments from people that perhaps I was just lucky and that's why I didn't have to do it. By other men's standards, I could've had a face carved out of marble but with how short I am, the autism, I never should have had a chance. I made it happen. And I've made it happen again just to prove it to myself it wasn't a fluke. If I can make it happen, I don't accept any excuses other men have. Well, it depends if we're talking simply giving up too soon (which is usually the case) …
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 03:53 AM
2

Well yeah. Why would anyone respect the act of paying for something that most others get naturally? Although I find it funny how sex work either in the traditional sense or OF/webcamming/etc is propagated in a positive light ("empowering"). By the way, assuming your flair isn't sarcastic, does your hostility to unsuccessful men stem from us reminding you of your past self? I'm struggling to wrap my head around why this attitude is so common.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 01:17 AM
2

What do you mean by coping about prostitution? As in by paying them in the first place or by expecting it to boost your ego/confidence? Because I do agree it's pathetic and that's exactly why it seems logical to have the opposite effect; I visit them once every ~2 years or so because there's no other option for me, but expecting it to be a sustainable replacement for real intimacy or something is silly, I've never encountered this sentiment anywhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/24 11:11 PM
1

Isn't that.. already the case?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 11:04 PM

Works only when you're attractive, I've been "ignoring" them all my life but my looks are mediocre/plain so it obviously never lead to anything. I mean this is common sense, no? We're supposed to be the ones who approach and not the other way around, except if you follow the two rules. Y'all who spout this probably are hot af and not realizing it or just humble bragging
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 10:37 PM
1

I wouldn't count on that, women are perfectly okay staying single if no one from their circle is "good enough" plus there are still plenty of extremely desperate dudes that inflate their ego further
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 08:12 PM

Did you try though nonetheless? I mean if I was a business owner and after quite a bit of self-improvement, like you said, I'd definitely at least try if the other options seem bleak anyway
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/24 09:39 PM

man who is minding his own business, has not said a word to them and claim that he is creepy. True but there's a reason behind it, at least if we're talking young adults, men are expected to be extremely energetic and extraverted and if you're not then it seems strange to others, like it or not (I definitely don't but that's how it is)
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/24 09:35 PM
1

This does seem to be the case after like 2013-15, but then what the fuck do "normal" people even talk about nowadays? Do they just discuss politics, celebrity drama and tv shows during dates?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/24 03:25 AM
1

It's something said without much thought put behind it just so the other person fucks off, same as "put yourself out there" when third party places are dead except bars/clubs that only attract a specific demographic not everyone will relate to.

This shit is hilarious, it's the same as this twitter screenshot where it went: "kill all men" "black men too?" "What's wrong with you?". Like an AI error from a clash of agendas
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 02:58 AM

So you hate women but have a literal harem at the same time? You make a few good points but at this point aren't sex workers less mentally taxing assuming you put up with women solely for sex? This kind of lifestyle is so foreign to me that I can't grasp how it all works out at all. What a strange world to live in
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 02:24 AM

Never said anything about expecting some magical savior figure showing up, fwiw I know my place. All I said is it's amusing to think mental issues can just be shaken off by willpower

I wouldn't have seeked professional help if I just wanted to be a victim, but sure, antagonize and gaslight away. I can't blame you because it's a whole different world out there for normal people so it can be tricky to relate

The power of being born in a generation that had the opportunity to develop social skills and without all the garbage in people's heads from ubiquitous social media usage?

Funny how you think depression and social anxiety is just a switch you can flip on and off, both can be treatment resistant too like in my case

l'm not simping Unless you meant the result instead of the chasing itself, dancing like a monkey to impress a woman very much is simping, but you do you
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 03:08 AM

Being attracted doesn't equal casting away all self-respect and acting like a thirsty degenerate. You can acknowledge a woman is attractive on some social media without writing cringy shit in the comments in hopes that she'd pick you specifically out of the other commenters same in nature.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 12:09 AM

Something something we're not a monolith
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 12:05 AM

All it takes is a bar outing or a downloaded app. Being introverted has nothing to do with it since success is virtually guaranteed likely on the same day
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 10:49 PM
2

Well I can't really relate but glad it works for you, many people remain in the same spot even after years of self-improving.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 09:47 PM

And was it worth it?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 09:06 PM

I see, well that's never gonna happen imo lol as much as I am myself excited fot what ai will bring considering how frighteningly quickly it improves every year, I guess people like that falsely assume that their online echo chambers reflect the whole real world
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 08:19 PM

Basically that's a poor coping mechanism. Why is it poor though? I think it's the best one there is, or rather will be. Though I imagine it'd be a very small minority and not some global pivotal change like some imagine, but still, isn't it a win-win if the unattractive men stop bothering y'all?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 08:13 PM
1

I don't know anyone with ADHD who struggles getting dates Funny because it's the opposite in my experience, myself included, it shares many traits with autism after all which are usually seen as a turn-off.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/24 01:43 AM
1

It's still common sense, but third places have been dying for quite a while now
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/24 01:19 AM

I think it's survivorship bias, maybe most people that don't use social media are too introverted/socially awkward to meet you in the first place, so the ones that are socially competent enough to date, that don't have social media will be statistical outliers because these two traits rarely accompany each other. If some social butterfly that never shuts up and approaches everyone enthusiastically doesn't happen to have an active ig/twitter/tiktok account I'd be weirded out too tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 06:22 AM
1

That's.. very different from your original reply lol. It's okay man I don't doubt you're a player, was just curious about the apparent discrepancy of worldview/lifestyle, don't take my rambling seriously
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 02:41 AM
2

So you acknowledge how shallow all this shit is and yet enthusiastically participate? Do you just scroll social media and dating apps all day trying to hook up as much as possible? Not judging, just curious cause I can't see the appeal in this kind of lifestyle
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 04:15 AM
1

Fair enough. Must be nice to be able to nitpick out of abundance of options, not like I wouldn't do the same if I had the chance
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 04:07 PM
2

That was just a figure of speech I used half-jokingly?.. In my opinion what both sexes consider attractive is less subjective than people like to admit, even if standards can change over time (like how being borderline anorexic was the thing in 2000s) hence why I asked. I was assuming these "filters" are mostly about physical features which is not the case I guess? Edit: tautology
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 03:58 PM

What's this horrible malaise that plagues 99% of us? I assume you don't mean the triple 6 meme?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 12:47 PM

I won't, it sucks there. But I said this to allude to the fact that at the settings he listed alcohol and often drugs (more at parties/clubs) are involved
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 11:52 AM

Because there are no alternatives nowadays, the years you were.. "active" are a different era, many things that were considered okay in the early 2010's including the obnoxious rapey-sounding ritual you've described aren't that prevalent and/or acceptable in 2024, except if you as a male have absolute killer looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 10:51 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
