So - I don't think your view is a naive expectation; it's a baseline standard that ought to apply to everyone. I think the dislike of the standard of judgement the poster proposes comes from The poster's implicit assertion that your sexuality is not yours to give if you have been drinking. Passed-out drunk is a no-brainer that everyone can agree on, but unless the poster is out of sync with general usage all it means by "drunk" is "impaired", which is a low threshold indeed.
