I started doing stand up, working on how comfortable i was on stage, rather than how funny i was. And ending a relationship myself (first time I ended one, being the dumper not the dumpee). I've spoken to a few dozen people that have had more children than they would ideally like. The most common reason given was that they felt pressured into sex by their husbands who didn't care of they got pregnant. They also struggled to afford or get access to contraceptives/abortions. This mostly happens in countries with religions and cultures that place men firmly above women. For example, there are laws expressly allowing for spousal rape in Ghana, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Lesotho, Nigeria…

That's largely because of roe v Wade and video games. 1973 abortion was legalised nation-wide. Early 90's saw a drop in crime because there were less poor kids becoming teenagers and committing crimes, and more of them stayed indoors playing video games. I suggest writing a very detailed and lengthy blog post or article about it. Your side of the story, from your perspective. But here's the kicker, don't go public with it. Just keep it on a quiet tiny website. Hopefully the story won't get any bigger and you can retain some anonymity. But if it does blow up, you can then simply direct any and all people and questions to your previous post. And simply refuse to engage further.
