6	This like... really bad Well, isn’t that pretty much what rape is now? Penetration vaginally, anally or orally. That would still mean that a woman giving a man non consensual oral wouldn’t be rape, it would be manual stimulation since she isn’t penetrating him. Making it sexual assault. But if the man made her give him non consensual oral then he just raped her because he penetrated her orally..if she gives him a non consensual hand job that isn’t rape, but if he fingers her then it is rape.. 7	This like... really bad So what they’re referring to is statutory rape and not “adult” rape. I guess when it’s a kid it’s a little different. Even so, I’ve seen people say that an adult male was “raped” by receiving oral, even though there wasn’t any penetration, rather than saying he was sexually assaulted. 18	This like... really bad So this this the confusing thing..what is considered sexual assault vs “rape”? Because I’ve seen a lot of people call oral sex rape, rather than sexual assault. Wouldn’t this be considered sexual assault rather than rape? If the roles were reversed, did the man rape the girl or sexually assault her? This is one of the best subreddit I’ve ever come across. It highlights a lot of the way I’ve been feeling about sexist double standards against men.
