1	What are your guys’ thoughts on the whole “men are more likely to divorce their partners if they develop an illness or disability” thing I'm missing something. My understanding is that they take the marriages in which only the wife experienced a new illness onset over the years sampled and then compare the divorce rate in that population to the divorce rate in the population mutatis mutandis for the husband. Shouldn't the rate be expected to persist whether or not the husband is more likely to get sick or die? I wonder why college-educated women are less likely to divorce. I would think they would have a harder time marrying someone who makes more money, and settling would increase their chance of divorce.
