It depends. Sometimes the "nice" can translate to routine or boring, which many do not seek. Sometimes it tanslates to takes more energy to make the relationship work out. Other times the compliments are to help focus on the parts that can help get a better relationship because they believe that it's possible should you focus on that kindness. My only piece of advice, albeit really bad, is to focus on being able to sustain yourself alone and perhaps you can chance by a person that a relationship…
