See, that’s the biggest problem with framing this sub as “debate”; we’re all speaking from our own anecdotes and experiences “I’ve never seen a man...” “men don’t do ______.” Allow me to bring another perspective to your experience. The men I’m talking to is me. I am an unattractive man and I have to care about what the social circus thinks about my tastes in order to maximize my romantic and sexual odds and get better results. I date using apps. Realistically, I’m probably a 5. Do you think eve…

Just because women apparently don’t date down for many commenting redditors on PPD, that doesn’t mean they don’t date down. Just stop shooting for 10s if you’re not a 10. I know my range, and I thrive in it. Edit: anyone can, if you develop “game” and just try some shit, whatever that particular shit is. Become a version of yourself you could see people dating down for.

You think men don’t lie about tastes? That is some rose-colored perception you got there brother. At some point, I agree with you; men and women are clearly and obviously different, but it’s not like we’re raised in different social settings or are from different species. We do and say things that we are incentivized by our peers and upbringing to do and say. If we’re smart, we generally do whatever behaviors we think will deliver the best social outcomes. Women are incentivized to lie about pub…

Lol, that’s kind of narrow, inexperienced way to look at attraction, man. Who are you to dictate what an ACTUAL MAN should behave like, or be attracted to? Men and women are absolutely different, but neither have one hard type they are all attracted to. That kind of paradigm is the fast track to inceldom. Unattractive men and women both still want to fuck; they just have to do more social perception maintenance to discuss/explore their desires without being ostracized or deemed creepy. Source: I…

Lol, it’s exactly as you say; lots of men are into other physical attributes. I shouldn’t generalize

Sure, but generally unattractive men can’t be that honest with their desires and get sexual or romantic results. They, like the women we’re discussing, have to regulate social perception

Just as most men will never admit to liking thin busty fuckdolls with an oral fixation who aren’t interesting in any way. According to some theories, it’s just an innate biological response to want the “healthiest mate possible”. This would apply to males and females. Social perception is something we all try to regulate through our actions and words. I perceive in my own life bubble that women absolutely care more about social perceptions than men, but I would argue that they are more incentivi…

For real, phrases like this just increase the stigma on men’s mental health; making it about “weakness vs. strength” when it’s really about “sick vs. healthy”. Tired of people with little/no experience with mental health issues trying to redefine mental health terms and qualifications.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
