Bit odd, seeing as men are harassed more online than women. https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/0894439319865518

Good to see this finally being recognised: A key underlying issue that has been raised both in this inquiry and also in the APPG’s previous two reports, is the pervasive male-victim blaming narrative. It is clear that the phrase ‘toxic masculinity’ is damaging and adds additional stigma and barriers to male help-seeking. This damaging narrative suggests that masculinity itself is at fault and that, if men would only talk more, this would solve their problems. The previous two APPG reports esch…

I got 67%. It's so bad. It wouldn't pass a college marketing module in research design.

Serena's got a net worth of $260 million and her husband has a net worth of $70 million. I wish her luck in the next chapter of her life after playing tennis but I think she'll be alright.

Yep, for me it's when I'm trying to follow the plot of some drama on TV or if I've just put headphones on or I'm cooking.

I really struggled in my last year of university trying to complete my dissertation, revise for exams and complete an accountancy course on top so that I'd have a good chance of getting a graduate position with this large accounting firm. I didn't get the job but they offered the same position to a girl in my year who hadn't done the extra course and had worse grades and much less work experience than me. When I asked her how she got in she basically explained that she already more or less had a…

By the time the marmalade was made, Frank Cooper was already a 30-year old established brand name in the Oxford area as Frank Cooper Snr had set up the successful grocery shop in his name in 1845. It was Frank Cooper Jnr who was married to Sarah-Jane so maybe the marmalade was named in homage to their father/father-in-law. They possibly felt it was best to stick with the brand name so that people who tried it knew where to go to buy it.

This kind of sounds like an r/AmItheAsshole post, although to be clear I don't think you are one. I've been in this situation and I've set out where I stand because I have to protect my own mental health. Usually it happens when my friend has a boyfriend who is good enough for physical and practical needs but is useless with playing the emotional/supportive role so she ropes in another guy to fill in the gaps so she's kind of got an ideal boyfriend between the two of you. Anyway, you're not in t…

I went crazy studying every hour of the day for an accounting qualification in the last semester of studying for an economics degree, so that I would be in with a shout of getting a position with a top accounting firm, but was still unsuccessful. A girl on the same uni course as me with slightly worse grades, no accounting qualification and much less work experience got the job I was applying for through a "shadowing women in the workplace" incentive.

Gaining sex by deception is already a law in the UK. The most prominent case was when a woman was sent to prison for 8 years for tricking her girlfriend into thinking she was a man.

Whatever happened to the idea that men don't talk enough and share feelings with each other because of toxic masculinity?

I'd been speaking to someone off a dating site since September. We got on well and spoke every day, then in January she found out I didn't like BLM or Antifa so I haven't heard from her since. I think it's for the best though.

So the only men outside at night will be the law-breakers and all the men who instinctively want to protect women will be shut inside?

This would be a horrible world for women. Huge numbers of women would still want to get married and have children, but to do so, they'd have to become incredibly competitive and back-stabby with each other. They'd have to be the ones who would have to approach men for dating, whether in bars or in the workplace, or wherever men and women meet and risk rejection. Women would be the ones up for sexual harassment charges and living in their mother's basements, subscribing to men's Onlyfans accounts…

I don't see it as a binary thing. Being pro-abortion to me is like being pro-having lifeboats on a ship. You want them as a last resort but also, make sure you do everything possible not to crash the ship in the first place. Also, I see myself as being more pro-choice than most pro-choice people. When adoption agencies advertise on campuses, their billboards get vandalised by pro-choice people because they don't like having the extra choice. Adoption is a good thing and should be promoted as a c…

I don't think you'll get a ton of hate for writing this, we tend to be pro-free speech and are happy to hear contrary viewpoints. I feel like if you'd written the equivalent thing (i.e. dismissing the idea of an evil patriarchy) on a feminist sub, you would get a load of abuse however. This sub is focused largely on real men's rights, things that don't get an airing in mainstream media and it's a good thing for men to have a place to discuss these issues. When I go onto a feminism sub, there are…

This was basically just a face-timed equivalent of a Twitter conversation with a radical leftist/feminist. They weren't interested in a stimulating conversation or learning the other side of the argument. This was unfortunately just for their entertainment. When women are alone and you can speak to them 1 to 1, they do have the ability to listen, but when they have an audience, i.e. other women, they can be incredibly cruel. I've learned not to try and convince a woman round to my way of thinkin…
