I think a big part of it is that most first worlder have no experience with just how shitty the outside world is, and imo, it is almost impossible to get a true picture unless you go for yourself and spend quite some time in those cultures. Freedom is being able to race your Ferrari down the coast of Chile with your dad, at top speed, and having no one say anything to you. Try THAT in the USA! Of course, there's a flip side, try getting a world class education in South America, or a world class professional position, or even having secure property rights for your cash and real estate. Actually (I studied Herpes virology in college), the number one reason it's not curable it's because the herpes virus hides in the nerve cells and goes latent between outbreaks, which makes the immune system unable to completely get rid of it. 4	College girl complains hookup culture is probably bad for girls. Still participates. I haven't given up, but I don't blame anyone for doing so. The future looks grim. I think the hardest thing is coming to terms that the fantasy future we thought would be ours will probably not be so. Easier to check out at the prospect of a dystopian future. 1	How do you organize your life. If you're on windows, you can copy paste from websites (like TRP) and it will automatically copy the URL too (great for saving snippets which you find insightful to reflect on later). One of the most useful things I have on there are my 6 month, 1 year, and 5 year goals which I'm constantly updating. I also have a list of books I want to read on there. 1	How do you organize your life. I like OneNote to organize my life. It has recently gone multi platform (with on the cloud storage), but I also keep strictly local versions for more personal and confidential stuff but it's up to you and how paranoid you are. It comes with Microsoft Office so you might already have it on your computer. I have lists of passwords, recipes, notes, career goals, journal entries, ideas, and a lot more on there.
