Y’all whine you can’t be emotional because women aren’t attracted to you anymore…. That could be someone's reason, sure. But it's also straight-up looked down upon, by men and women, and that's not a good thing. Fuck all the other motivations, men need to be able to express themselves without being looked down upon by the women and men around. When I reference "societal pressure" yes, it's more of the expectations you are raised with and sets the bar for yourself, and for a lot of people growing…

No ones forcing you to be tough and emotionless This is what most boys are taught while growing up, that's the fucking problem. Men being emotional is absolutely not normalized. Just don't get married is an awful thing to tell anyone who got fucked over in a relationship. I'll tell that to a woman who gets abused by her husband, how about that? And no, you might be right that men might not always be the sole provider, but again, societal pressure and expectation are my points. It's what is taugh…

I've seen the same with men, but from my experience, it happens way less. And the self-loathing part is hard to put my finger on, but I think a lot of it tends to stem from social media's influence and what we see on apps like Instagram and such. I can attest to that due to constantly being bullied by me…

Life as a man is probably carefree as hell That is probably the most ignorant statement in this thread I've seen.

Yeah, I think you summed it up pretty well. Both men and women have a lot of difficulties and things they have to overcome, which a lot of people in this thread aren't really acknowledging.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
