Child abuse is triggering so you'll refuse to look into the factual reality of the historical obstruction of the study of and arrest of female sexual abusers? You're so traumatized you prefer perpetuating the sexual abuse of boys (and girls)? You people are all the same, I've actually done the reading into sexual abuse by clergy and the amount of sexual abuse perpetuated by nuns that's never been prosecuted/is credible is staggering; of the organizations that have worked tirelessly for the littl…

You replied under my comment and so I was notified. I just feel the need to reply to you; since you're an unserious person polluting this thread. In case anyone stumbles across your comment and thinks the sentiment of someone who doesn't actually engage with arguments they initiate, is worth a dime. It is a typical Amber advocate tactic though. To throw a rock and then ad-hom about the weirdness of receiving a reply/rebuttal.

But you can't even acknowledge sourced rebuttals, keep only replying to comments amenable towards your closed mind.

You've been reported. Edit: I always engage with Amber supporters who approach in good faith, rare as you are; and in the copius arguments across my post history, I have a rebuttal for any argument you could've made, had you not approached me with thought terminating sentences (repeatedly, on a few minutes turnaround time, so it's impossible you could've touched what was sourced) and a reply that, honest to God, was the worst-faith/most disgustingly assumptive reply I've had to a comment of mine…

No; it's because this subreddit has rules around good faith engagement, a lot of what I've said "hasn't been debunked," online and you're almost certainly a troll. This sub should be more rigorous around modding against "red pill," rhetoric and conservative sympathetic posting (in my opinion) just as more users should be swift in identifying bad faith posters instead of humoring them, given I've had back and forth's with your ilk for four years at this point; I'd rather not have to deal with an …

Brother, can you add 1 + 1. I'll give you one more opportunity to act in good faith. I noted a miniscule amount of money, directed towards a limited sphere insofar as social media is concerned, relative to the channels for information proliferation and demographics of those who viewed and held opinions on the case. The article doesn't even claim that Depp's PR is being funded by Ben Shapiro; it claims that Ben Shapiro funded independent adds, centered around the case. interlocuting that my comme…

I would respond to this comment comprehensively, but it's assumptive and projective to a disgusting degree; almost worthy of being modded against. I don't believe you're capable of being a good faith actor based on this reply, and I doubt you've read the "UK Documents." As someone who's actually knowledgeable though, here ya go. https://www.reddit.com/r/PsycheOrSike/s/7Sm8li4i7a I doubt you have any actual knowledge of Amber's life given she's similarly abusive of substances, actually has a dome…

That's all reasonable. If someone is repeatedly falling for the women they know then there's an issue at hand. I thought the below was part of my original reply, but I'd left it in my notes apparently: "What's contradictory about it? I think it's 100% understandable that emotionally developing/immature men won't understand the extent of control they have over whom they attach to emotionally, and when they're younger and feel thing's stronger; lack the ability to regulate feelings to the strongest extent. I'm 28 and didn't have that awareness/capability until my mid-20's. https://np.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/1pp6w5q/men_who_ask_out_a_female_friend_9_out_of_10_times/nuky7no/ My take is here on the OPs claim. Yep. If I have ten female friends and have an infatuation for five of them that dissipates to platonic feelings, then we're able to remain friends. Now let's say I have a friend and two years into the friendship it strikes that "Holy shit- I have a crush!" That could be worked through to a platonic place; but having been in that scenario, at that point there's stress as to hurting the friendship/the possibility of interacting holding too much pain. Which isn't necessarily a sign of immaturity as…

Lancel Lannister's abuse by Cersei is handled very well in ASOIAF. Even when Tyrion's knocking him down a cascade of pegs on ACOK, the book acknowledges Lancel's youth/ignorance, and by the end he's challenging her/showing bravery. Then his father in Feast basically just calls out there incestuous abuse/that with the age difference Cersie is more of an aunt than a cousin, she had a parental role and abused it to make Lancel do her bidding. Look. I've tried to convince people in the Depp V Heard trial subreddit to make a master post compiling the best arguments against common Amber advocate talking points and showing their consistently unhinged and organized behavior, but they don't want to unduly influence people so they stay arguing against the regular/occasional Amber supporters that generally behave like trolls who come in. A lot of her supporters either lie about listening to them or refer to them out of trust for those in their ideological bubble who've told them that they show "the truth." For example how many times have you heard an Amber supporter claim Depp's audio was edited? I've looked through their post history; this person believes Depp reacted disproportionately to Heard nearly taking his life via physical abuse and the suicide baiting that's intrinsic to false accusations. You're recommending Bell "Never apologize for falsely accusing the central park five" Hooks? Bell the Babbler? In all her non-empirical pontificating about black men? My comment was downvoted, but I'm just saying whenever I've read about sexual violence as perpetrated against boy's in Africa; so a handful of articles, studies, and testimonies in large twitter threads, it seems more common on the continent to a degree I'd think is comparative to sexual violence perpetrated against girls.

My point is simple. You have no platform to leverage, no political power/sway; I think it makes sense to be as obstinate and off putting around say, circumcision as an issue (aside from telling those unbothered by their circumcision who may from a point of reason be anti circumcision/be swayable to being so while lacking the emotion those traumatized hold, like myself, that they were mutilated aggressively which will just turn people away on an individual level); I think that's winnable. The problem is a lot of this community is over being conciliatory and so they want to stand on whatever position as resolutely as they can; but they don't take into account that we have no leverage/bargaining power and some positions this community seems to hold are repellent to all identities/sides of the political spectrum (say, financial abortions). This community by and large talks about Richard Reeves as if he's satan, it isn't interested in a makeover or playing politics.

Emma is an Amber Heard supporter, Sam Seder platforms people like her and is too old and secure in himself to understand the plight of younger men or branch out into male issues intellectually. Not that being secure in oneself is antithetical to understanding such struggles or any sort of activism, but that some men who are doing well in all areas in life are the examples used to invalidate male grievances by themselves and other's. Presentation is apart of persuasion; her goal in scoring the video is to present Amber's testimony in a light those who saw it live didn't perceive it whilst invalidating all other testimony with literal clown music; and that's just a single aspect of her fundementally flawed analysis. It's like when you all misrepresent Deppdelusion as a fair community from which to be informed and not one that bans any bit of info/comment that could be seen as even slightly counteracting your narratives on the…

You arent worth engaging with just off of your OP None of you are; either your approach is intrinsically abusive/dismissive which shows bad faith or you do the ol Deppdelusion block after replying and then lie about it tactic, orrrr you stop replying after being pushed to actually answer a quesiton asked/aknowledge something sourced. What I engage with in this thread is pretty clear; you didn't pass the low bar of decent conduct.

Wow if you're claiming the "unsealed documents" counteract what came prior and it's always attatched to the idea Depp supporters bumbled into "unsealing" their downfall; then someone should explain the truth of the motives and acts that lead up to their release and breaks them down; or would you just rather they just swallow Deppdelusion slop. That post is far fairer than anything your camp produces.

It's sickening the way you people disrepresent a ruling of probabilities in a libel trial with far less evidence and no burden of proof on Amber as she wasn't even a party, as detenrming an abuser whilst downplaying a defamation trial in which she was a party. So intellectually dishonest.

Once again, can you give me one person in Dell's familial and friendly life that states they've been hit by him; that's what I asked of your. It's a propoganda piece that's main axiom is Amber is always telling the truth and Depp is always lying. A vapid piece for those looking to confirm their bias. Amber's tall tales of rape are improbable in the level of violence described and Medusone literally putting melodramatic music over all of her testimony and clown music over that of anyone she seeks to discredit doesn't make Amber's testimony any less ridiculous than the day she spoke it.

No. It was a ruling of probabilities on whether a publication had cause to believe what it published was true. The only things that are unprecedented about Depp V Heard is the gender of the one of the parties alleging abuse as well as it's status as the first true "trial of the century" of the tiktok era; aside from Rittenhouse which built the foundation for what was to come. Men are becoming disaffected from the left and more skeptical of feminism but we are not flooding to the right and becoming tater tots at the rate that its suggested. The danger for the left is slim margins of disaffected (as in mentally checking out of the poltiical process) men and maybe a minority of those who turn to the right flipping elections for the republicans; it's not a mass exodus.

Your entire approach to the OP; the bias of the subreddit is apparent/intrinsic to my thread even being made so the way in which you mentioned it as if it mitigated anything about it/the purpose of showing a post from FD is just weird.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates23/08/24 05:46 PM

There is no video, did you even read the OP properly? And you jumped in without even looking to verify if that was FD and mentioning the bias of Deppdelusion in a way that wasn't relevant to the OP or what FD wrote.

He isn't important; him as an example of what the wider feminist left sees. as the ideal male advocate/what talking heads represent as far as wider cultural beliefs is. This is just one act in the line of many that make him a buffoon but I found it worth sharing due to the extent he's pushed as a voice for men; it wasn't posted as a sign of him losing non-existent standing.

That was also my tipping point; one thing that's a frequent and funny talking point that's also in FD's post is that the "mutual abuser" narrative was initially used by those unwilling to see Depp as the clear imperfect male victim of a female primary aggressor. By those who'd laughed away the term and kept it cordoned off to essentially men's rights and right-leaning spaces, by the false equivocators who've increasingly renounced that take and came out as Amber Heard supporters. Most people wer…

No; I don't think the red pill has any place in male advocacy and should be repelled lest any community fall apart. It's already the uncommon left wing man that's willing to step outside of the social pressure from feminists/fellow progressives and their own views, to come into a community like this. And even me with my relative comfortability being outside of said spaces and personal history of embracing my own approach to culture war type issues, refused for years to post in communities like m…

Look if you also want no man to have a large public platform for discussing these issues then just say so; you don't need to worship Reeves or follow in his stead to simply use his words or to be the person pushing more feminist critical thought in spite of them; he's only undermining other male advocates if you give him too much …

Only one or two opinions would be a deal breaker red flag for me if after discussing them their perspective doesn't shift.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/24 05:37 AM

The media isn't what's making every feminist community on this website stump for Amber Heard or spread genuine misinformation on the rates of sexual abuse men/boys face; all a man needs to do to become feminist skeptical/feel an anti-male current is go directly to the source; whether that's online forums, institutions, content creators, or academia etc. No strawman of every man who doesn't express total allegiance to feminist orthodoxy coming from second-hand misinterpretations of their words.

More men will become disaffected from feminists and those that turn to the right or more likely simply check out of the poltical process will be the difference in conservatives winning close elections; feminists won't right their poor messaging and half-baked theories as feminist communties/talking heads seem resistant to self-criticism that strays from orthodoxy and are assured of their own righteousness.

Your rejection of critical race theory reads as a push for color blindness when in truth race plays a role in multiple aspects of black men's existence, as you used black men as an example; CRT grew out of a black man's frustration with the racial biases in the juridical system. CRT doesn't equal liberalism or intersectionality it's it's own concept that doesn't have to be a boogeyman beating down on white men as privileged/whatever conception of it people have.

No one who uses this subreddit would find Askfeminists insightful nor would reading it be mentally healthy for them; it's all feminists/women asking themselves a strawman about why men think/behave a certain way and then getting an equally clueless strawman response in return. In fact- a large portion of this subreddit is likely either banned from askfeminists or has had extremely negative experiences there; that community can barely tolerate menslib and you think they have a breadth of perspect…

This reminds me of when Liam Neeson admitted to having had racially violent thoughts back in separatist Ireland and how he wandered with the impulse to act those out on an innocent black man; which being black but also someone with a vested interest in rehabilitatiom/radical empathy, I appreciated his honesty whilst others still saw him as that decades past racist man and accused him of pawning his unasked for guilt off on others. In my mind it was that sort of radical honesty/deep look into wha…

I don't like referring to people as monsters in general; and even referring to someone as an abuser or felon/criminal or other label feels weird to me as that isn't the sum of anyone's existence. My issue with your phrasing is solely due to my issue with the general calls to "leave Amber alone-" that usually come with false equivocations between the behavior of the two. So when you mention the "monster/vice versa" part; I read "don't talk about it at all" as talking about the case (which I'll ne…

Also it's important to recognIze that all talk of Amber isn't necessarily "talk of amber-" i.e I have very little interest in her as a person and have never levied the common juvenile insults against her; but like so many others, my responses to the misreporting around the case and rhetoric from feminists of prominence is conflated as harassment of her when it's actually just words in direct proportion to the amount of unprecedented support she recieved from the the left/raising awarness of what…

Amber isn't an irredeemable monster but she is an unreperant abuser that hasn't rescinded the lies she brought to the public, through using her accusations as a platform for fame/socal validation and monetary gain as a victim "activist." Depp's flaws as a person/fault in the relationship aren't comparable enough to vice versa the two without a multitude of qualifiers; he just wanted to live life and she wanted and got a microphone. Her acts of violence and the public slander/extent of damage suc…

Literally the same; I fully embraced being disparate from progressive spaces due to the trial- including fandoms like the Twitter ASOIAF community where the lack of response to it compared to past celebrity abuse stories and the apology for Amber/willfull ignorance of a swath of the community, deeply disgusted me. It's extra-bad as I'd been following it since pre-UK trial; yet a month or so following the veridict the trial finally came up in a converastion with a friend I'd avoided all talk of i…

You're right; I just find it impossible for me to healthily engage with content creators whom supported Amber Heard and or have a false understanding of the social media meta on the tiral; given the number of year's I followed the case and what I witnessed in the lefty spaces I once belonged to. It was my brain breaking moment as far as understanding his bias stemmimg from one's beliefs/social ties can construct a fiction wholesale- even having predicted the exact path these spaces and talking h…
