What kind of debt? Real estate? Burritos?

I don't mean to be vindictive, I mean to head off any of these kinds of false allegations. If she says it too, it just looks like retaliation.

If there's no requirement for evidence and no consequence for lying, then should men just preemptively do this to women? Would that work?

Great list. Sadly, due to the cultural "enrichment" of feminism, people used to be on the same page about most of these things, and you didn't have to fill out a 100-item questionnaire with a potential spouse. Now, it's a minefield, and getting married is like playing Russian roulette.

Also prenatal and postnatal depression can be major sources of marital dysfunction. You can get married without involving the government. Just get religiously married in a place that doesn't have common law marriage or palimony.

This may sound like a good thing, but it's not! Anywhere between 90-95% of divorces are settled before trial, and the vast majority of those settlements are bad deals signed by men endorsed by their attorneys. The truth is that men are far more likely to throw their cases away than women are. Can you give examples of bad deals that lawyers recommend? It's a well known axiom in the divorce system that men are much more likely to blindly follow the advice of their attorney than women are. Men are …

Why does that work? Aren’t the tricks used by the other side to delay and draw out the process allowed to prevent even the appearance of unfairness?

Not all women, but enough, unfortunately.
/r/Divorce_Men16/05/26 12:05 PM

Sure, ignore the actual point, if that makes you feel better. The OP is about assholes and players, and the women who choose them. Just don't do that. It's that simple. Men who lead with their wallets get played by gold diggers and fakers, and they are just as responsible for being taken advantage of. Just. Don't. Do. That.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 04:31 PM

Aren't women responsible for their own actions? It doesn't matter if there are people willing to take advantage. That's always the case. You might as well blame the universe for being rained on.

Unfair rights and unfair autonomy are (part of) the root cause of the problem. Sorry, in my experience, writing much about this on Reddit is a waste of breath, but if you're interested and engaged, I can go into more detail.

“Is there a way to solve the problem without solving the root cause of the problem?” When something was working before and then stopped working, you look at what changed.

Civil marriage, you mean. Religious marriage is just fine outside of common law marriage jurisdictions. We need to stop thinking of civil marriage as THE marriage. Civil marriage is a government-established religion.

No, I'm just pointing out that it isn't bad for men in every case. I do think it should be split by percentage, since the division probably can't be done immediately after the judicial order.

It could go either way, depending on how the market is doing. If the shares had gone up in value, it would've been a good outcome for you and not your wife.

Christian marriage has been outlawed by no-fault divorce and domestic violence laws. You literally cannot have a Christian family anymore, it's forbidden. It's not even opt-in. All you can do is keep the government out of your marriage as much as possible. Get married in a church, but it stops there, no civil marriage, no common law marriage, no communal property, no palimony, no alimony, no spousal support, no shared finances, yes enforceable prenup, yes cohabitation agreement. Sadly, "child" "…

Because the advice is given by the apex males. Men don’t sabotage other men the way women do to other women. “Cockblock” is a term for a reason.

What I meant is that your attorney is supposed to do whatever you want as long as it doesn't violate their professional ethics (lying to the judge, betraying their client, etc.) It's not their job to judge for themselves the merits of the case; that's what judges and juries do. It's their job to take their marching orders from you and make it happen. That's why he sucks.

Ah, yes, questioning the motives of the person making an argument, an ad hominem attack: the last refuge of someone who doesn't have a good argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 07:42 PM

Agreed. Most men are still blue-pilled anyway.

Feminists not understanding how to compare apples with apples? Shocker. Just look into the wage gap myth. You'll never trust feminist statistics and analyses again.

As long as we live in a society where hetero sex is seen as devaluing to women, and a status boost to males, women have no choice but to be picky. That isn't society, it's biology. Men and women have unique reproductive value.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/25 06:12 AM

I agree with you in principle, but plenty of things that shouldn't be rights are rights. Frankly, this is low on the totem pole of things I care about; women already have so many privileges and advantages compared to men. Try first fixing the right of freedom of association, guaranteed in the first amendment (US). By the way, what do you think will happen when most young men can't start and keep families? Things are trending that way, and it's becoming more and more obvious that it's happening. …

You let her think she was right for you. You were lazy and didn’t try to find a better fit for you. Now everything has fallen apart, and it was completely preventable.

Have her convince you by establishing boundaries, telling her about them, talking to her when she violates them, then when she does it X times, tell her it’s a dealbreaker, and if she doesn’t turn things around, you’ll have to move out. Demote her over time. If she keeps violating your boundaries, move out and demote her (don’t describe it in those terms) to a girlfriend. Then demote her to serious dating. Then casual dating. Then hook up. Then nothing. Don’t announce the demotion, just change y…

There wouldn't be legally-enforced divorce. Divorce, if there were any at all, would follow the contract agreed to by both parties, as was done in the past. If a marriage was religious, then people customarily followed the practices and dictates of their religion or risked being ostracized. This is why divorce was so rare throughout history. Marriage was never about love, it was about finances, safety, and reproduction. Making marriage about love today is why it's failing. Briffault’s law states…

In my opinion, civil marriage is government-established religion, and should therefore be abolished for the reasons that such a thing is obviously bad. Christians and conservatives got greedy when they created civil marriage. They assumed the society would always be Christian, and that the definition of “Christian” wouldn’t change. Instead, the society shifted, and the institution of marriage was subverted through normal means of government change. It’s a classic case of the Tower of Babel: you …

Physical abuse from women was normalized back then too. How many times have you seen depictions of women slapping men or throwing drinks in the faces of men. And emotional abuse from women has always been normalized. According to the CDC, women are more physically abusive than men. Most physical abuse from men just corrected bad behavior, physical or emotional. Now the state has inserted itself into policing marital behavior, except it’s not enforced equally for men and women, which effectively …

My point was to minimize the risk of her wanting to divorce in the first place. Obviously don’t do civil marriage either, just religious marriage. Then there is no risk of alimony or community property.
