Why would they want to play for the men's team? The men's team sucks lol. The US women's team now has four World Cups, the men's team has never won, they didn't even qualify last year, they are ranked 30th.

Except the women do bring in as much revenue as the men… “Except new audited financial reports that surfaced this week found that the U.S. Soccer Federation has been taking in more money from women's soccer than men's soccer. Between 2016 and 2018, the women's team brought in nearly $51 million from things like ticket sales, advertising, while the men's team brought in only $50 million. All of a sudden, the economic argument about athlete pay starts to fall apart.” https://www.npr.org/template…

LOL exactly. Think about what you just said. Employee #1 sells $45,000 worth of product, people like him but he’s not the best. Employee #2 had such good interactions with clients that she got invited to the Las Vegas trade show and ended up selling $100,000 worth of product. Who should be paid more?

Sure, but the women aren’t fighting for pay for the World Cup alone… Their argument is to be paid fairly for the revenue that they generate. And the US Women’s team generate’s more than the US Men’s team

Wrong. The women's league makes more money over the whole season, it's only the final that makes less money. So they truly are underpaid

You guys are some sexist idiots. Everyone here thinks these women didn't bother doing any research and are just complaining based on facts they read on Facebook, what a joke. While OPs article is coorect that the FINAL brings in more money for men, the entire season makes for more money for women and therefore they are completely underpaid for the job they are doing https://www.cnbc.com/2019/06/19/us-womens-soccer-games-now-generate-more-revenue-than-mens.html?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app

Please don't spread this bullshit. It's completely misleading. Women's games actually bring in more money than men's games: https://www.cnbc.com/2019/06/19/us-womens-soccer-games-now-generate-more-revenue-than-mens.html?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app

So if I run up to you with a beer bottle in my hand and pull my arm back like I'm gonna crack you over the head with it, but then I lower my arm while continuing to stand threateningly close to you, I'm definitely not a threat anymore since I lowered my arm for literally 1 second? If you think she's completely innocent then you deserve to wake up in the hospital with a high heel sticking out of your eye lol

"wasn't doing shit" is a funny way of saying she cocked back her arm ready to swing while holding a weapon.
