Maybe, but I 'll try what seems to work for now, maybe therapy for me and I could say it was good and see if she wants it. Sorry to hear about your childhood. I'll keep it in mind when deciding what to do. Your dad sounds great. Luckily for me I have largely managed to keep alcoholics out of my life. I think sometimes such people have a hard time accepting fault with themselves and project it on their surroundings which makes them hate themselves more. We can all be guilty of that but with alcoh…

I know some other fathers in those sort of situations though, it is not super uncommon but likely less talked about. In at least some of these cases I think single fathers are very much focused on their kids and less on their own hurt. A friend of my kids is taken care of full time by her father (he got full custody after the mother without telling him brought the kid to Iran during those demonstrations where Iranian authorities massacred so many people, while in custody conflict with the father…

Thanks, you're probably right in your circumstances, which seem much worse, although I favour trying to talk it out under mine. My wife is better with the afformentioned things now but might be leaving due to just not being able to deal with being a full time toddler parent and feeling that life, and me standing in the way of her dreams. In my world I never stood in the way of those dreams, I just couldn't see a way of her having them all at once and yes I did not put her first but the kids. Whe…

This actually goes both ways. But I think the solution for most men isn't leaving at least if we have kids. For instance I'd nag my wife to not leave oil paint in the kitchen sink (most of her favoured pigments are toxic), to remove oil paint from the floor or walls (she'd put up 15 min paintings on the wall still wet). It took me half a year (and lots of times I'd clean the kitchen sink with steel wool myself without saying a word) to get her to clean her brushes in one of the bathrooms. She'd …

But there really isn't a way around it. Lets take just initiating sex. Just for fun lets have a poly couple with persons A, B and C. A wants sex with B and C every day. B wants it once per week. C wants it once per month. C is going to feel annoyed and pressured by A and B. A think B and C are prudes who is not much into A. B. agrees with C that A is a bit too much. And B agrees with A that C really doesn't seem that into it. Now add some other things like how often cleaning needs to be done, ho…

Women are high emotional intelligence with other women and if they say work in kindergarten with small children. Strike Wo from the sentence above for a similar sentence about men. Now if you have women who grew up with lots of men around maybe the'd be more attuned to men and vice versa.

I believe when it comes to actual autist, they can often do a better job at reading other autists. Just line "neurotypicals" do a better job if reading other neurotypicals.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
