My brother once used Apple as an example. Back in the day they didn't have the best MP3 players, but they had the best marketing. They got the most people in the door and asking for it by name. Because it looked the best. Men are salesmen, woman are marketers. You may not have the best product, but you have the best marketing to get the most foot traffic. Being in shape doesn't fix everything, but it definitely helps!

That's not just one red flag! That's a series of crimson flags.

Character is most important! I once complained I was with this broke guy. He never had money despite having a decent job. I thought it was him mismanaging his funds. As time went on I found out that his parents needed emergency repairs on their house after a storm and that's where all his money went. The man that'll sit on the floor and feed his disabled niece. I'm the same way, I do it too! First it's an internal thing. You have to actually understand that you messed up. It looks like you've done that part already. Second, tell him you're sorry AND MEAN IT. Third, have a location where both of you agree on meeting whenever you need a ride.

What I tell other women is what my friend told her daughter. Go in preparation to look like shit in the end. The women who end up looking like crap in the end of their gym session are usually the greatest looking!

Had to switch accounts for this. For meeting guys, I would suggest picking up a male dominated hobby since you're in a female dominated job. It will provide a balance. I use my brothers as an example. They're into shooting, real estate, wrestling, sports, and RPGs. You won't believe the looks you get being the woman at the range by herself.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
