I feel like that was simply an excuse on her part for not wanting to bring me home. I don't really know where the night would have gone if I had just accompanied her to the bar and kept escalating. | 3 | [deleted by user]Point taken, you're probably entirely right. In retrospect I think it would have been smarter to try and make a move before last call. When I asked for her number, I had her pulled off to the side, but we were by no means alone. Her friends were all there trying to get us moving along and it seemed awkward at the time.
