I'm also going to suggest to take the MSF course and see how it goes. Then, get a cheap bike with engine displacement anywhere from 250-500cc. You'll probably drop it at least once. It's a rite of passage.

Fishing is super easy to get started on your own. And cheap, too. Just look up some shit on youtube and make an effort to get out there. I spent ~2 nights/wk last summer by myself fishing in my little rowboat. Time well spent imo

Could imagine a dual approach, maybe mixed reality or holograms or some such. So you see her (virtually) walk into the room, and chat with you. The bot is actually on the couch the whole time (doesn't have to walk - waaayyyy simpler and more feasible imo), but you see and hear her moving around the room, eventually coming near you. by the time she starts giving you the eyes, her virtual image and the bot are in the same physical location. Absolutely brosef. Here's a site that's good for finding all FFLs in your area. Will include some sole proprietor garage-type operations as well, so with a few phone calls I bet you'll find someone willing to do a transfer. GunBroker.com's FFL finder I gotta say though. If you buy a firearm, learn and practice the 4 cardinal rules of gun safety, and train, train, train!

You can try finding an FFL (Someone who can legally transfer the firearm to you from a retailer) and then buying online. I've bought from GrabAGun and Bud's Gun shop. Excellent service and great prices in both places.

Yep I agree with the above, this is the kind of stuff you address vaguely, and don't show your full hand. "Just haven't found the right one" is another good one for when you've finished school. People have asked me if I'd ever get married, and I always say, "We'll see, it totally depends on meeting the right person..." and leave it at that. I mean I had the same gut feelings, but I think they're mostly based on shame and what others would think of me. I actually went ahead and bought a cheap one during this quarantine shit just to try it out. I don't have a 'relationship' with the thing, I fuck the shit out of it whenever I want, however I want. It's way more satisfying and similar to sex than any alternative.

No worries man, I'm not exactly trying to refute your premise. My main point is that statements like "all X" and "group Y never does Z" aren't usually good ways to convey meanings. It's one of the things that bothers me about echo chambers in general. The statement AWALT is different when you think about it, because it isn't really about women's behavior per-se, it's about the root causes behind their behavior.

You should still be able to buy a "bed-in-a-box" online. I did that and it was like $550 and the bed is amazing. I bought the Allswell Luxe on walmart.com, based on a recommendaction I can't remember where from. I went for a couple years too long on my last (shitty) bed and now I'm regretting not upgrading sooner. The difference is huge

The internet was a lot smaller back then, and there wasn't nearly as much crosstalk among communities or spreading of ideologies as there is now with social media. There were forums, but they were largely focused on specific subject matters. So I think it was harder to stumble upon these ideas. Now if we have anything happen in our lives, we have the ability to ask thousands of internet strangers what the fuck is going on, or to read from others who have asked the same questions in the past.
