2	Why is there no men acutely malnourished? Do they not matter to the WHO? Women and children makes it sound really bad so people step up. Doesn’t sound as bad if they say that a bunch of men are malnourished. They’re not ignoring men’s malnourishment entirely, but saying women and children has always been used in crises because they are perceived as innocent.
