You should try to reframe this. The man is not "doing" the woman. The woman is not "receiving" or being "taken". Sex is an act of intimacy being shared by two or more consenting adults. Both people are sexually pleasing each other.

Fat guy here. I have other fat friends who are equally successful with women. I can confirm it’s not an outlier.

Fairly obese guy here. I’ve dated women that the average person would consider out if my league, if you believe in that. And I even dated women taller than me. I also didn’t have much money when I dated those women. Will being fit and losing weight give you an advantage, absolutely. But it’s not the only thing. How you treat people, and your personality are substantially more important.

You don’t need to change anything. Anyone who knows this is correct. That dude is just felt attacked because they’re in an age gap relationship 😂

This explains your stance of thinking it’s a myth. Age b gap being a 35 year old and a 45 year old is not the same as being a 19 year old and a 30 year old. You’re literally arguing against scientific fact dude.

It’s definitely the wig. Not the height. A friend recommended either watching YouTube videos to make less expensive wigs look much better. Or spend the money on getting a custom one which will be tailored to you. Yes it’s expensive but if this is something that matters to you, I’d recommend it. And depending in what country you’re in, there are organizations who help with this. So look around and best of luck.

They probably lose interest because you’re not a very good actor and they can tell your disdain for their hobbies. I think you honestly need to learn to socialize. Seems like you’re more concerned with having a relationship than actually putting in work to maintain one

This is the best advice for someone on the spectrum. A lot of people see masculinity and femininity as two immutable traits that only present in one way. It never was the case and never will be. It sounds like he has an idea of what he’d like to see but since he can’t give exact examples, I think it’s more so about how he feels vs what you actually can or can’t do. Everyone is wired different. It comes down to communication. Tornteddie is pointing you in the right direction OP. Best of luck!

Because it contrasts so much from the men’s self help groups of 20+ years ago. When you’ve been around these groups as long as I have you come to see how it went from actual self improvement and self help to this overt misogyny. Sure back then there were still issues within… but this iteration of male self help groups is extremely toxic.

No.... Codes of ethics established by boards are applicable at all times. You can get fired or lose your license/certification for your conduct on social media platforms. For example, Rudy Giuliani was disbarred for making public statements that the 2020 election was stolen among other false public statements.

Like most folks said here. Leagues are not real and it’s nonsense. Do things to improve yourself and you’ll feel better about yourself, giving you more confidence. And stay way from unrealistic beauty standards. You got some great advice from everyone here. Try everything you can.

Men are not a monolith. Approaching things as a “one-size” fits all is never going to work. Different people have different wants and desires. You date people to learn of those things line up. Sometimes they don’t. And it hurts sometimes. Finding the right partner for you takes time. And it’s not easy.

You’re 23. You say you don’t go out much. So genuinely, what could you have possibly experienced that men had to offer before? What kind of men were they? Was it their money? Was it their kindness? Was it their looks? And why didn’t it work out with those men? Since they apparently had what you want, is there a chance to go back and try things with them? Seems like there’s a lot of questions you need to answer for yourself and to find yourself before you go looking for something you think you wa…

If religion is important to you, God loves you anyways. The Bible is riddled with people who did way worse than you and were eventually sanctified and saved. Just do your best to stick to the path you choose. Learn from your mistakes and do better for yourself to make you happy.

That’s fair. I’m coming from the assessment that people with some of the personality disorders and maladaptive behaviors that causes them to act out a certain way are often unaware that what they’re doing is harmful. I’m speaking from my own experience with a narcissist, seeking therapy, and what my psychologist friends also iterated to me as third party “observers.” It’s one of the things that helped me not keep ill will towards that ex partner even though I’ll remain NC forever, but I digress.…

I’d say this advice is pretty good. But I just want to clarify that in psychology, gaslighting does not require “intentionality” from the perpetrator. You don’t have to be doing it on purpose, overtly, or even knowingly for it to be gaslighting. Also the reasons people do it has many variables. “Stern’s book emphasizes that the Gaslight Effect isn’t solely about one person intentionally manipulating the other; rather, it can emerge from a more subtle and complex interplay within a relationship.”…

(Kindly) This shouldn’t be a barometer for masculinity. Yes you’re free to have whatever standard you want but most people aren’t born with the knowledge of changing a tire. You had a father that taught you, and that’s great. Not everyone has that. Or maybe he did but it never happened to his dad so he never had to change one. But if this is something you’d like him to know how to do, and being that you know, maybe you can teach him. If he’s got all the other qualities of what a healthy relation…

Hi there! You’re already at the first step of this with the level of self awareness you have. This fact alone means you’re further along than you give yourself credit for. I’m no professional but here are some tips I would recommend: 1) Have a constant reminder to yourself that you are only actively looking for friendship. When you catch your mind wandering in the undesired direction, give yourself little reminders of why it’s important to build genuine friendships. 2) Try setting healthy bounda…

You’re welcome. As far as the family situation yeah it can’t be avoided since they live in Mexico. I’m an immigrant also and have had to deal with similar situations like meeting important people to my family members very scarcely. Like I still have yet to meet my brother’s wife of two years due to logistics lol Now, that does make it harder for your loved ones to get to know and possibly vet him, so unfortunately you’ll have to rely solely on your gut. If you truly feel 1 year is enough for you…

More info: Have your dad and sister met him more than once? Or do they know him well (met multiple times) and dad’s family met him once? Now, regarding mom… If your relationship with your mom was not great and you didn’t want her meeting him until it improved, that’s perfectly fine. It’s a healthy and proper boundary to have with an individual. Saying that she cannot be part of your love-life until you are in a healthier dynamic with her is okay.

You do need to talk to women because you’re just repeating what uninformed men have told you and taking it as law. Red Pill can’t have it both ways… “Women have low sex drives” but “women will cheat on you and have have sex with all the Chads so we have to shame their body counts”

Welp… none of this is research, let’s start there. Sex workers. Let’s go with the ones who donned work voluntarily and are not trafficked, cool? The ones who do it willingly, have to have sex with many men to make money. If you’re a sex worker and have a low sex drive, you won’t be having as much sex and therefore not making money. That’s how easily debunked that is. And this ignores the plethora of reasons men seek out sex work. Sex drive just being one of many factors. Some are that they’re no…

Man that’s some crazy stories there. Sorry you experienced that. I can see why you’d be wary of being accused of things. I’ve had many close friendships with women over decades. Women that I’ve had no romantic involvement with even though they are very attractive. That “men can’t control their sex drive” trope is nonsense and excuses poor and predatory behavior by men. This is false and you're generalizing your preconceived notion. I've never dated an older woman for money. Those were my healthiest and longest relationships. Also the most rewarding from a romantic and physical standpoint. Older women know what they want and don't have time to play games. Nothing is tainted. Life is about experiences, making mistakes, and learning from it. If you feel guilty over this behavior make sure you don’t repeat the pattern. Most men aren’t concerned with women’s past. Those that are tend the be the insecure types. “High value men” or whatever, have also made mistakes in their pasts they’d like to correct. I’d been involved in the male self help movement since about 2006. Before it went mainstream like it is today. Left it a few years later. Then seeing it blow up on social media, I can tell you that the concept of high value male and high value female has evolved over time. Just like general society… things change. Those men you’re referring to like to put the onus of pregnancy onto women. But if a woman chooses to do what she wants with her own body, it’s a problem because they prefer malleable ones they can control. The evidence for that is their own words. And yeah it’s definitely for worse that he’s the head of it.

I think most people would although that’s not what’s shown in the media. Even that has some influence on who we find attractive. And region also influences. For example, Caribbean men LOVE bigger (fat) women. There’s even popular music in the region with the lyrics saying they don’t like skinny/slim women and refer to them as bones, which is also body shaming really. When you travel the world, you realize that the beauty standard is only as standard as where you are. Anecdotally, I can say I’ve …

If anything, Red pill and conservatives would be the first to exploit them… this is why RP constantly advocates to dating 18yo because “they haven’t had many experiences yet”. They’re not psychologically mature for this as you say, but they’re also “the gold standard” according to you. I hope you see the clash of positions there.

The Wall is a stupid concept. If the gold standard ideal for you is an 18 year old, you need help. That’s still practically a child with an underdeveloped brain. This is a stupid generalization especially given the fact that a lot of men love older women. Hell even if we focus on “raw sexual interest” MILF and mature are always at the top of the list of searches for years and years. You can Google porn search term statistics. The idea that they don’t have as high a sec drive is false. Women have the same drive as men if not more, especially at certain periods of their lives. But red pill dudes are worried about body counts. So they lead themselves to believe women don’t want it. Anyone that believes this seriously doesn’t know women at all. Ask women themselves

I think this is a prefect example. The richer you are and the more focus you put on your wealth, the higher your chances of attracting possible gold diggers. And then you have a self fulfilling prophecy of believing that women only want men for the financial resources they can provide. Meanwhile, it’s your personality traits that will keep a woman loyal to YOU and not sticking around for your finances.

Femininity is a spectrum. By being a woman, you’re already feminine. The idea that it has one specific look or style or preference is very limiting. You’ll find many feminine women in the heavy metal scene. Goth girls, death metal, etc.
/r/RedPillWomen02/03/23 07:49 PM

If you think this, you don’t speak to enough women. They literally lust after men’s looks just as much as men do for women. You disagree with this idea because you yourself don’t find men attractive. If you’ve ever sat around a group of women having locker room talk at brunch you’d know this. But society has spent so long controlling women’s sexual desires that now most men think they’re non-existent or that sex is nowhere near as important to women. This could not be further from the truth.

A lot of this is generalizations pushed by the red pill community and a lot of them aren’t true for everyone. This is especially true when you understand how these points are framed and how what women “want” gets manipulated. If you think an education is just a degree with lots of debt, and little money, it shows a very narrow view and experience of what an education is. Cooking requires an education. 1) No fault marriage was sought to help women escape abusive relationships. Women in the 50’s and 60’s didn’t have pocket recording devices to record their husband abusing or cheating on them like they do today. In a he-said/she-said case, women could never prove it and were forced to stay in abusive marriages. That’s why it exists. It’s easier to handle a rejection online than in person because in person there’s also a social price you pay especially if it happens in public or surrounded by people. It changes everything. Wolf packs from after a male pup grows up and leaves his original pack, becomes solitary and a comes across a female who grew up and left her pack and is also solitary. There is no competition because packs avoid other packs. If these two solitary wolves are receptive to each other’s mating attempts, they start to bond and eventually they breed and have children and that’s a new pack. All packs are family units.

Because he's projecting all of his insecurities summed up by what he's physically acquired in life because he lacks any emo…

By that note I’m going to assume you’re not familiar with the phrase “big dick energy” which is used in certain circles. The opposite is “small dick energy”. And here is the actual definition on urban dictionary so you can familiarize yourself with the lingo. Context matters. And you implying that she meant his actual dick is taking it very much out of context. https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Small%20Dick%20Energy

You’re acting like she just casually came out of nowhere to say that. And like everyone says, context matters. She never said he had a small dick. His dick size is irrelevant. The joke is that he’s a very insecure guy overcompensating for something as we can tell by his behavior. She’s saying he behaves as if he’s insecure about his manhood. The key word is “energy”. You can be a girl and have big dick energy or little dick energy. It’s not about actual penises but one’s good or shitty behavior.…

She didn’t say he had a small dick. She said he’s going around being boisterous and showing off his cars like he has something to compensate for. Also… it’s not like she came out of the blue and did it… he literally went to harass her on Twitter… she gave him the same “energy” he brought to her.

Thinking he’s funny is a problem. That’s how people turn a blind eye to the radicalization he’s doing. Funny things are harmless more often than not. This is not harmless when you understand that a lot of the people that follow him are suffering and in turn inflicting suffering.

Maybe it’s a country thing but at 174cm or 5’8” you’re not even short. That average height in the USA. So anyone who says that you’re short or inadequate for them is just a terrible person and it’s good that they screen themselves for you. It’s still not great to hear being belittled for that so I understand how you feel. I’m also the same height. What do you find difficulty with?

That sounds like a warped view of manipulative behavior. I’m not sure where this fully fits in with Red Pill stuff… but in the pick-up/dating community from about 15 years ago, neurolinguistic programming was a tactic used in conjunction with essentially threatening the woman that you’re going to leave her in order to make her want you to stay. This of course would happen after you’ve manipulated her into being attracted to you… then basically small threats or insinuations that you’ll leave her …

Yeah. If the apps cause people mental turmoil… they should leave them.

The reasons for the 80/20 rule are very relevant. Because if people are going to be bitter that women only swipe on 20% of men, then we should know why the numbers are as they are to find a solution. And I do agree that maybe getting off the apps as a whole is better for people. Especially if the numbers are not in their favor. That’s like entering a losing game and expecting to win. And then being upset at the game when it was always stacked against you and neither gender is to blame.

One thing I’ll say about this 80/20 thing is that you assume there’s an equal number of male to female users. Most dating apps are over-saturated with men. By some statistics, 75% of users are men. So really there’s more competition. Men getting less swipes is not so much about women’s preference vs just not that many swipes to go around. And by the time a woman would have gotten to your profile, she would have seen way more candidates than you can think of. Women being picky is not the issue. T…

It was another one about a high school cheerleader who posted about it on one of the platforms. Tried looking but couldn’t find it. Basically since the person she claimed assaulted her was her boyfriend’s best friend, she had a hard time telling her boyfriend when she started being distant as a result of the trauma. They said things like “she knew what she was doing” and other cringeworthy comments… most saying how an SA victim should or would act if the story was true. They pretty much said she…

Yup. I agree with that. At the end of the day, their goal is to make money off their channel. And to do that, you have to maintain a base. But when compared to other channels, theirs is the more balanced

Their channel is good but has fallen off from what it was. I had to unsubscribe because they started leaning into victim blaming when discussing videos where women claimed sexual assault. That was enough for me.

There is no scientific basis for that statement. And one thing they RP and religious circles have in common is that they like to try to control women’s autonomy. That’s likely the whole reason they say silly things like this.

You’re 100% right. It’s not something that’s on their agenda. I think one of their main objectives is not really to help men. If it happens, it’s secondary. But their main focus seems to be to say the wildest things possible to get people to keep watching so they can monetize their views and sell BS products. I’ve never seen these red pill videos actually have a therapist or psychologist or any licensed/certified professional that can really help, especially in the mental health space

Ah I understand now. Thanks for clearing that up for me. The weird thing is that they don’t fully ignore it. They acknowledge that men’s mental health is suffering. But my guess is that because they lack the language to properly address it, they see the mental health struggles as a symptom of feminism. So I assume that in some twisted way, they believe that by trying to combat feminism, they’re actually addressing the root cause of mental health issues

This is spot on. They’re a walking contradiction rolled up in cognitive dissonance. OP, mental health advice and help should only be sought from mental health professionals if you can afford it. It sucks that mental health help is often inaccessible to people but RP will be the total opposite of what you want to do. There are some licensed therapists and clinicians who have videos on YouTube you can watch although it won’t be as in-depth as you would from actually attending personalized sessions…
