Cultural Bias in the AAP’s 2012 Technical Report and Policy Statement on Male Circumcision

Look at maps with circumcisions rates and then a HIV map. There is pretty much ZERO correlation. So whatever benefit there is, it is obviously pretty insignificant. Not to mention babies and young children don't have sex, so that's even more of an argument to let people make these decisions when they are adults.

Yea it's weird to me that uncut women want to get so offended on my behalf. It really reminds me of sjws some women in Africa

Is there any research that there is less risk of infections etc. in infants? Seems to me that peeing and shitting in diapers after a surgery is a major risk factor that would increase complications.

What I took away from the doctor's visit: Even if you banned it, there would still be doctors who would gladly whitewash religious parent's choice by falsely stating medical necessity. You'd probably start seeing a massive increase in kids with tight foreskins. Which at some point would probably attract the attention of authorities, if one doctor performs this 10 or 100 times more often than others. Also people would probably talk about this and it and at some point it will always get to the ear…

It's just that our politicians didn't listen. You can blame that Austrian guy. Politicians just don't want to deal with all those Holocaust 2.0 accusations...

I think it's really stupid and can't watch it, but for some reason a lot of people seem to watch it and talk about it at work...

So you will also choose a husband for your daughter like it was done in the past?

The chances are? Sounds really scientific. The simple fact that most uncircumcised guys don't get cirumcised later.

Obesity can be reversed. You just have to check out /r/fitness, /r/loseit/ or /r/progresspics to see how many young people manage to get back to normal weight. In addition if it's really bad doctors or child services could step in. A parent's decision how to raise their kid(s) is none of my business. So child abuse in any form is fine with you?

No, that considering uncirumcised dicks ugly was a thing. Although it also suprised me that it would be that common in a frist world country. Always thought it was mainly something they do in the middle east or Africa.

Well, I didn't know this was even a thing until I started visiting Reddit. I mean some individuals might see it that way, but there is really not this general public view.

Apart from the few people who do it for religious reasons I can't think of a reason why people in Europe would support it. Most guy have a foreskin and are perfectly fine with it. It's not something that's seen as ugly. They know that cleaning isn't an issue nor are infections and that it's really not a effective way to prevent HIV. So there is really no good reason to cut off a perfectly healthy body part from a baby.

I think you would get similar numbers in pretty much all European countries.

Goodwill Ambassadors have been an official (or unofficial) part of governments and cultures for as long as diplomacy has existed; to exchange gifts and presents; humanitarian relief; or development aid, using well known celebrities, scientists, authors, known activists, and other high society figures. Goodwill missions of countries are usually carried out or overseen by the head of state, and do not necessarily involve diplomatic credentials outside of a letter of presentation (or letter of cred…

No mastrubate and move the skin over the tip. Or in general moving the skin over the penis instead of moving your hand over the skin.

Plus, I have been told by more than one woman that they prefer circumcised men because it is more visually appealing than an uncircumcised dick. In the US. In Europe they don't give a shit and it might even be the other way round. It's culture that's it. What do you think are women going to do if you ban infant circumcision? The fact that i am slightly desensitized (and I do mean slightly) means that i can go longer than uncircumcised men. Yeah that's great until you need those blue pills when y…

like the guy whose full name they listed multiple times in the article. The newspapers would not have been allowed to use his name back then either. It's just now that he is dead or would be free that they do it.

Some find it looks really gross and wouldn't sleep with a guy that That's just because it's common in the US. In Germany I don't know anybody who thinks that way.

But coming from my cultural background I really don't think much on having been circumcised. It is just a non issue to me. I agee. We also shouldn't care about 12 year old girls being forced into marriages with 40 year old guys. And when we are on it, I'm not sure if it was such a good idea to let women vote. And thinking about it those black people should have their own toilet. I mean after all those are just cultural things.

I don't cum in five seconds with a sandworm. Might be great when you are younger. Might not turn out that great when you get older and aren't that horny anymore.

Exactly. In most of Europe it would be the other way round.

All im going to say now is that I have many friends who wish they were circumcised but are afraid if the pain now. For what reason? I can't think of a single one, unelss it's for a medical reason and I it is pretty unlikely that's the case for a lot of your friends.

We changed the topic to girls in case you didn't notice. And I hope your sons sex life will be fine after his circumcision otherwise he only has you to blame his whole life, because there are definitely some guys out there where circumcicion had a negative effect.

There are seriously different requirements for physical fitness? If there weren't there would probably be even less women.

No it does not. It clearly says "that the well-being of the child is not endangerned", which is not the same as "what's best for the child"*
