Simple answer…. cause society allows them to and it’s accepted, but men can’t do it cause then we are the sexists.

Don’t do it. After 4 years I legit tried to be civil when the kids got involved in sports. She took me back to court 2 years ago trying to take the kids away from me because I lost my job and was unemployed for some time. Don’t share information with her for any reason! You may get burned…

If she tries to lock you out, call the police. I had to do that and it benefited me during the divorce. And by me not budging on leaving, she actually left after about a week.

Absolutely! And don’t think she won’t try to get you to say things while she is recording.

Yes! Stay in the house! It will be awkward, but you gotta do it. Hang in there!

Same! Definitely not paying for weddings when it’s socially acceptable to get divorced for bogus reasons. True domestic violence? Sure. Drug abuse (as long as it started after the marriage). Acceptable. Incompatibility? Lame excuse. Marriage is a risk for men. And a benefit for women. It really is that simple in todays culture.

Go with your gut. At this moment, what does she have to lose in a divorce? Pretend and fast forward 5 years. Maybe throw a kid or 2 in there. What does she stand to lose? If you can honestly answer nothing, then your “statistics and horror stories” might be your answer. GL either way

I tell everyone not to get married. It is completely rigged against good men, and good fsthers if children are involved. People think I’m just being negative, but they have not gone through what we have on this post. 22k. Lost half my retirement. Lost the kids for 50% of their life. That’s the one that stings the most……

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
