Ok, so men can produce multiple children. Is he going to be a father to all of them? Support them? What does he think of boys raised by single mothers and fathers who abandon their children, I wonder? If a woman sleeps with multiple men and doesnt know who the father is, she can tell each man anyway that they're the father, and one is guaranteed to step up and be a parent. STDs can render both men and women infertile, and these STDs dont always present symptoms. I guess if he gets chlamydia and …

If you think too much in shades of grey, you can explain away all red flags, but a relationship isn't a moral dilemma. Some things are just black and white - like what harms you or makes you feel safe in a relationship. Catastrophizing in the frame of a relationship is more like, when literally everything else is great and you're so in love all the time, but oh man he never puts his socks in the hamper and I'm thinking of leaving because of it. It doesn't sound like everything is great and feeli…

It sounds like she's desperately trying to maintain control where she can. She can't control her father moving in "replacement" moms after losing hers (not saying that's the situation, but may be how she feels. She's a teen, which is a hard enough time to go through without loss of your mother and then inconsistent relationships being introduced and invading her space.) So she may be trying to maintain control over the cooking and her environment - her home. What happens if you let her cook, but…

You "fear" the kind of husband he'll be, and he considers self-improvement "cringe." For the entirety of your relationship, he struggles to get work/clients. Doesn't sound like he's ever going to be someone you'd feel confident to marry, and after 4 years together, it seems unlikely to change. It's easy for us to see someone we care for, and see potential, because we want these things (success, comfort, self-pride, etc) for them & ourselves, but "seeing potential" is a form of projection. You're…

I have a lot of personal and secondary experience with Bipolar individuals and their effects on their family. It's devastating, and life-long. Yes, there are medications, and therapies, but it is a carousel of finding the right medication/combination of medication and dosages (all of which have severe side effects, many of which worsen or are worse than bipolar) and actually getting them to stick with it for their entire lives. And that is notoriously difficult to get them to do. They hurt those…

It's appalling that you're being encouraged to continue lying to someone you want to start a family with...especially about things that are incredibly important to many men. You're horrified and you know he would be too. What if he finds out? Maybe much later, when you have children, and then your lies tear apart your family? Or if he doesn't, does that sit well with you? Can you deal with the guilt of a relationship being built on lies? Be honest, especially now when you have much less to lose.…

If you like thrifting, check out Poshmark, it's a Canadian used clothing market. Easier than thrifting because you can search tags instead of going through all the racks aha. I like April Cornell for modest & cute feminine dresses.

I wouldn't consider it cheating, but it's certainly inappropriate, he got "caught," and then went back to it, showing he's not likely to stop. And then the crying photo (lmao) and drunk texting paints him as quite unstable...your best friend doesn't like him, and probably for decent reasons. It's hard not to hold on to our firsts for too long than is good for us. But the longer we hold onto the wrong one, the less time we have with the right one.

It is incredibly nefarious. These people taking hormones and surgeries are mentally ill, and instead of getting the help they need, at every turn, their delusions are applauded - in media, in schools, in medical settings. To some degree, there is a subconscious "taking out the competition" aspect for those who encourage it, but I think these people are also narcissists who are virtue signaling - getting the big "trans attention" and getting to feel good and altruistic, without actually having to…

Lemon water and a pinch of salt works well for me when I can't handle caffeine and need a bit of energy, and peppermint tea for the morning ritual. Do you need a caffeinated drink, or is it just from habit? You can go without, but it will feel difficult because there is built tolerance and withdrawal, but you will eventually get to a point where you don't need the hit just to get the day started.

What traits in the men giving you attention indicate lower value? I could be wrong, but from your writing I'm getting the impression that you're focusing a lot on physical attractiveness - in the men you date, and in yourself. You could be focusing on men out of your league, if you're so picky as you say.

This is a great opportunity to let your husband lead! He's very experienced, knows how to pick good quality gear, has offered you reassurances about sticking with you even if you lag on the trail. And it's only overnight! You're not jumping into the deep end without someone trusted right there to catch you. If you need a break during the trip, say so - no use in hurting yourself or pushing too hard and ruining the experience for yourself. Bring a creature comfort from home with you - an episode …

A wife initiating sex and intimacy is a big thing for a husband. It makes him feel big, strong, and desired. You initiating could be a big part of what he means when he says he wants a more active sex life. "Being willing most of the time" is very far from being the same as initiating. Passivity is not submission, and it certainly doesn't help a relationship. The best thing you can do is initiate sex and intimacy with your husband when he is sober and clean - and like another commenter said, lot…

You've identified the root of your feelings from a source external to your relationship (your parent's issues,) which is a great first step - so what about what is actually going on in your relationship? What household and parenting tasks are you taking care of? What is your husband taking care of? (Besides 10-12hr days - though that's certainly a lot.) If your husband has gone completely hands-off with parenting and maintaining the house, then in my opinion, that would be an unfair division. It…

How is your hormonal health? Regular cycle, periods not too heavy/too light/too painful? A hormonal imbalance or a poor lifestyle can cause asexual/aromantic feelings. It may just be where you are at your current stage of life as well. I was disinterested in relationships, sexual or romantic, until maybe 19/20. If there's no cause for your disinterest, I think you can afford the time to let that happen naturally. Certainly don't mentally reinforce the idea that your current state is going to be …

Lists and schedules. Lots of them. Have every task you can think of written down and categorized. Grouping things by room, have tasks you do daily (dishes, make the bed,) tasks you do on set days (tuesdays+Thursdays laundry,) tasks you do weekly (meal plan, mop,) tasks you do bi-weekly (easier if you stick to set dates like 14th and 29th every month) and tasks you do monthly. Put all that on a large white board - the calendar ones are handy for the detail. This is your master list. Then, have a …

Look into shaken baby syndrome. It sounds like your husband wasn't caring for the baby long - just the time it took to fill the bath, right? To be pushed to the point of covering your 2 month old's mouth by their cries in such a short amount of time, would scare me very much.

You describe more faults you see in your current partner than positives in this thread. It sounds more like you just appreciate not being alone. You're now the one treating your partner as a placeholder. You have regrets over not working on yourself the last time? Now's your chance before you accumulate more regret, and pass on the hurt to another. I'd look into Nun Mode and therapy.

"I took him for granted many times" "I was not emotionally stable and mature enough" "I was very focused in my career" I don't think a man would stay in a 7 year relationship just to have a "stepping stone." You don't paint yourself as a woman inspiring commitment from an "alpha" type of man. It's been four years. You have to get over it, and drop the woe-is-me bit, especially at your age. If it's because of current poor hygiene, I would certainly consider it a yellow/red flag. If it's because of poor hygiene several years ago, and it's not a problem now, it's fine. He didn't want the same life you wanted the first time you dated, what makes you think this time would be any different? From what I've seen, people who get back with exes, break up again for the same reasons as the first go around. He changed his mind the first time on having kids - what are you going to do if he agrees to a timeline for a second time, only to change his mind again? Can you cook at your best friend's house? She seems sympathetic to your problem, and cooking with someone you're comfortable with, without the pressure to impress/not intrude, may help. Focus on basic, everyone-loves-them meals. Pastas, steaks, roasted veggies...find a recipe, follow it exactly, set timers for cook time, keep an eye on things. If you're more confident with baking, try making pizza. Easy as sin, and people are always impressed that's it's not delivery. Different toppings make it …

Good lord, smearing feces? At 37 years old? When the apartment is tied to your name? That's absolutely mental. You don't scare off prospective tenants, you sell the idea that it's a great place so someone signs the lease ASAP so you don't have more visits. I wouldn't touch a man acting like that, to that degree of disgusting, with a ten foot pole.

I don't date outside of my beliefs, values, or race and culture. It necessitates people to compromise on these points, and I believe a strong foundation of a relationship is based on sharing these things. Especially when children come into the picture.

I definitely see how ultimatums are saying "do it, or else" in most cases, but still think fertility, which comes with time constraints with devastating outcomes if not respected, is an outlier to the rule. I believe that in the case of fertility, it's less "do it, or else," and more "I understand you need time to think, but this is the maximum amount of time I can spare." Keeping in mind again, that her fertility is waning as she waits. A man has no such time constraints, so a good man would re…

The future existance of one's family is - to many - extremely serious, as much so or more than substance abuse. I understand what you're saying in regards to walking when at your wit's end, but not seeing how that is bringing him a problem? I mean, I suppose it is, but what's the point if there's no chance given for him to solve it, when you leave in the next breath? Yes, I'd say his previous backing-out is pretty relevant, though entirely reasonable. Children are a major life change. It happened with my husband and I as well - we discussed when to start trying, came to an agreement, and when it came close, he confessed to wanting to wait another half year, and the reasons why. The key there was he gave a time frame and stuck to it. Did your husband give a timeframe, of at least a moment to revisit the subject ? For what it's worth, I don't think any flak ab…

Fertility and family planning is a completely acceptable subject to set an ultimatum around. I know people and media love to espouse that fertility doesn't wane until 35-40, but you can look at any forum covering infertility and take stock of the ages - 28 is just as common as 38. If they need medical intervention? Tests alone can easily take a year, let alone even starting treatments, all while fertility wanes, and good lord, the costs. For many women, having children isn't just a "want," but a…

For something useful, portable, and allows you to make whatever you'd like, I'd say crochet, or wool felting (wet not so portable, needle is.) Sewing is immensely useful, less portable depending on your project, but versatile in regards to what you can do with it. (Clothing, accessories, repairs, pillows & home decor/linens, plush toys, etc.) Cross-stitch is less useful, but highly portable. Weaving, rag-weaving perhaps. My FIL & grandmother are bipolar. I have seen my whole life, how it affects their families and relationships. It is a disorder that harms all around them. I hand sew clothing for my husband and I, following historical & folk patterns. Machine sewing is more frustrating than relaxing for me, always fiddling with the darn thing and fighting it to get my stitches done well. Buuut it also takes a couple days instead of weeks for a garment to be finished. Hand sewing you obviously don't need a machine either, just needle, thread, and fabric, so you can get started with very little. I draw no line, I trust in and follow his lead. If there is a disagreement or worry, we discuss it, and usually come to a mutual understanding - but honestly, it's rare I don't see and agree with his reasoning. I don't follow blindly or without question, I follow a man I trust with my life, with my lives. Reduce carbs & sugars, increase protein. Look up intermittent fasting - go without eating after waking for several hours. Look into the calories and macros of what you're eating - I highly recommend Cronometer for that. Plug in everything you eat, you can even input your own recipes. It'll break down the nutritional info of everything, show you where you're getting too much, or too little. You can set goals for weight and body fat. Good luck and good work.

A core piece of advice from redpill women is to look at and address ones own behaviour, as it can be the cause of many problems in life and relationships, as well as being the only thing we truly have control over. Your boyfriend, and father of your child, is acting disrespectful. Is there something that may have made him lose respect? I, my husband, the other traditional/redpilled husbands in my circle, would lose respect for a mother of a young child to go to a festival of that sort to drink. …

You can lower your standards (the comments others are making about the soda bit are funny - I wouldn't date a man who drank soda more than once a year either,) change location to an area with more men that fit your standards (either living location, like moving city to country, or locations where you meet these men,) or just keep going on dates. Physical attraction is important, and a lack thereof will kill a marriage. Aside from looks, being overweight is generally an indicator of lifestyle - poor self control (overeating) and/or laziness (lack of exercise.) Which is not something I want modeled for my children.

How should the government help, exactly? Assuming you're in a first world country, there's already a number of welfare programs. Where does this government aid come from? Taxes. As the other commentor mentioned, field guides are handy - googling books for edible/medicinal plants in whatever region you're in should yield elevant results. Weightlifting at a gym is a great place to meet more red-pilled/like minded men. It's far from a turn-off to a HVM. A lot of women seem to be under the impression that if they lift weights, they'll start looking like a bodybuilder, when that's simply not the case.

If fat women know they'll have more health issues and die earlier than a healthy person, why don't they, you know, stop being fat? It doesn't take much - in fact, it arguably takes more work to get fat than not! More consumption = more money = more work. In a sound, happy, Christian marriage, I see no reason not to have kids whenever you both desire and think it's a good time. Especially if you're a stay at home wife/mother, and want multiple kids. Better to start sooner than later, and risk fertility struggles, or the trap that many people fall into, of "not having enough/not being prepared enough." Nobody is born a parent, and there's nothing that will prepare you enough or tell you when you're ready to raise another being. So follow your hear…

Obesity as an aesthetic trait isn't the sole reason fat people are unattractive. It takes a lack of self-control, self-awareness, and self-care to get fat. All you have to do to not be fat, is not eat in excess. I've met many women who could be considered average looking to unattractive, get a higher value man than a fat woman who, were she not fat, would be much more attractive than her. Being overweight is the first, most visible red flag, beyond being solely for looks.

Best thing that rid me of my guilt over being a stay-at-home wife was simply putting in the work. I just don't talk with other men, aside from necessary pleasantries. In your first example, I would've given a curt "you're welcome" at his first message and ignored further messages. Men will read a friendly, chatty woman as having interest in them, taken or not. Especially if you continue to respond, even if you respond brusquely, or constantly mention your relationship, etc. Be polite but curt, and end the conversation yourself instead of hoping they'll get the hint.

Unfortunately, this is a lukewarm reddit-tier "redpill" forum and not the redpill community you may be talking of. Reddit RP groups are pretty much solely about "trad" male & female relationship nature/behaviour. Best bet is finding an in-person group. You won't find anything self-labelled "redpilled" though. Maybe you can ask around /pol/, there's always an Australian thread going. But yes, it's incredibly hard to find like-minded women and it isn't always safe to expose yourself as one.

With all due respect, I don't think this is the community for you. If you "believe in gender roles," you'll see that these roles are based on the physiological and psychological differences between male and female, and those who naively think a man can take the place of a woman, wife, and mother in a couple/family are displaying a profound lack of understanding of those physiological and psychological differences.
