Girl I hit it off with at the Bar wants to reschedule our date to 7 days from now. Should I casually text her daily, or call her a couple times until the date in order to maintain rapport? Or should I just lay back and not contact her until it's time to schedule the date?Definitely! Lol their whole objective is to screen out men based on random shit 🤣 | /r/seduction | 17/06/22 12:38 AM

Or should I just lay back and not contact her until it's time to schedule the date? The evening before call/text to confirm date/logistics. The morning of send…I’m really looking forward to seeing you tonight…I’ve been thinking about you all week. Don’t engage in answering personal information…that is a woman’s way of screening you out before you even have a date! | /r/seduction | 16/06/22 09:37 PM |
I feel overwhelmed when it comes to dating and meeting girlsYou’re still really young for all of this. The last thing you want is to be hitched to a woman now. Maybe take some time to develop yourself and be ready to rock at your 20 year HS reunion. When you are in your late 30’s you’ll be prime for ladies in their late 20’s/early 30’s. Work on yourself! No shame in hiring professionals. They’ll probably help train you to satisfy women the right way. Good luck | /r/seduction | 15/06/22 02:40 PM
Continue with lawyer or get an arbitrator?I’ll add that most states require both spouses to complete a financial disclosure in order to calculate alimony and child support and enter into a spreadsheet that says you pay her every month. This almost always works against the man. If you get a lawyer most likely you will have to complete this financial disclosure for the court. If you get some guidance from an attorney but go thru mediation then you can avoid this financial disclosure. The mediators will attempt to identify all assets, debt… | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/05/22 02:19 PM
Weird thoughts of reconciling am I alone? All divorces come down to time and money. How much money are you willing to pay to get more time with your kids? How much money are you willing to pay your ex (alimony) for the same thing you get to do with your kids for nothing? Keep in mind you can always be a part of your kids lives even if you get less than 50%, which is likely. You can show up to school for lunches, attend sporting events etc…. Plus, all things considered…kids are pretty resilient and will adapt to whatever happens so don’t… | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/05/22 04:11 PM
modifying spousal supportDouble edge sword buddy! Usually a modification requires a new financial disclosure from both parties. So, if you got a raise or additional funds and she has less now, the court is going to say you have to pay more. Rarely do you get an order that says you get to pay less. Probably best case scenario is getting more time with the kids, or getting to claim them as dependents every year on your taxes. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/05/22 02:34 PM
Question to those fathers whose under 14 years old daughter / son had chosen mother (ex-wife) over you - did they ever returned to you?You don’t have to have your kids physically with you in order for you to be active and engaged in their lives. You can pick up the phone and call, FaceTime, show up at school for lunch and sports/activities to let them know you are engaged and care about them even though they are not staying in your home. Your kids are only going to put into your relationship what they see you putting into your relationship! It’s ok to give them space, but they aren’t the one driving the bus. You have the judge … | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/04/22 02:51 PM
A couple questions before separation...Maybe consider relocating to FL. I think after being a resident for 6 months you can file for divorce there and from what I understand they process divorces fairly quickly. If you can get 50/50 custody for 12 months, and don’t have to pay child support, or alimony, you are somewhat ahead of the game. If your state doesn’t require it already…have your attorney add in a clause that says if she gets married, any alimony payments stop immediately. I had a clause put in mine that basically said befor… | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/04/22 02:35 PM
Shedding processYou’re the most important man in your little girls life right now and will be as long as she lives. Always do what’s best for her and you’ll be alright. It took me awhile to come to my senses and figure out my ex wanted the best for our daughter too…she just had a different way of getting there. You need to let go of your issues with the ex and continue to do what’s making you happy. | /r/Divorce_Men | 21/04/22 08:35 PM
Cooking for YourselfCostco sells frozen individually wrapped tuna/ahi steaks and pacific salmon filets. Super easy to prepare along with steamed veggies and organic brown rice you can microwave in individual size cups. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/04/22 08:10 PM
Initial reconWell, if this is your first divorce you’re going to find out rational and logical arguments aren’t likely to work in your favor. At this point it’s a business decision. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/04/22 02:56 AM
Legally what am I owedBasically half the appreciated value of the home. If she can refinance and cash you out that’s the best way to go. Otherwise…any contributions either of you made to individual 401k accounts while married are subject to consideration too. In my case, my ex chose to take a loan on her 401k to pay me off rather than refinance. If you get down into the weeds of every nail and screw you bought the lawyers are going to make more money than you’re going to get out of it. It’s best to just take a reason… | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/04/22 04:16 PM
Hello. My one and only(hopefully) divorce court date is in a couple of weeks. What type of attire should I come to court in? I was thinking 3 piece suit. Would that be too much and would that be frown upon on the judge? Thank youGo in dressed like Hasselhoff! If you have a female judge she’s gonna want to see you in her chambers after she signs the decree. You go without hesitation cause it’s gonna get freaky when she lifts that robe up. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/04/22 03:59 PM
Initial reconShe’s gonna fight you over a frying pan or some crazy shit y’all got as a marriage present. Don’t fight it. If you have loans together, like a car or credit cards, try to refinance in your name/her name. The decree will say who is responsible for the car/loan but doesn’t enforce if she gets the car and doesn’t make the payments. It’s a huge hassle that can impact you going forward. If you spent a good amount of money on her wedding ring, and she fights you about debts etc… the judge can have her… | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/04/22 03:47 PM
Contemplating Divorce Not Sure if I am OverreactingThe longer you wait the harder it will be and the more it will cost you. Do not vacate your home. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/04/22 03:35 PM
Almost over....Hang in there buddy! It ain’t over til the judge signs the document. Until then she can do all sorts of shit to mess it up. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/04/22 03:32 PM
Advice needed: ex pushing for overload of extracurricularsI feel for you, but honestly, you are fighting for an extra day every two weeks that you don’t seem to have time for. I fought for 50% and got 40%, and everything worked out just fine. To the kids, that one extra day is meaningless. And, as they get older it will become even more meaningless to them. That extra day you want could be spent attending their extracurricular activities, supporting them by being there so they can see you are interested in what they are doing. You don’t need a court to… | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/04/22 03:26 PM

Just a little advice.Install a ring type security camera in your home and make sure you’re interactions happen within sight/hearing of the camera. You don’t need her consent for this. Simply want to protect your kids. Pretty sure in FL they have a formula for figuring out who gets what etc. Any family law attorney should be able to give you an idea of your situation. I know both parties will have to make a financial disclosure under oath. You might want to get your pay stubs, bank account, credit accounts, loans pap… | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/04/22 02:59 PM
Is there a cheaper way to consult a lawyer?Sometimes the court has advocates that can assist you for free or something less than $50. Basically, they are there to make sure you have all the correct paperwork in line and have checked all the appropriate boxes. They do no provide legal advice. A call to your county clerk should get you headed in the right direction. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/04/22 02:39 PM

Do any of y’all celebrate your divorce anniversary?Amen! I totally agree. You need to be happy being you first. | 17 | 5th Anniversary of my Divorce!! Not sure why I even keep track of this day…it’s a horrible memory, but I’m so much better off today and I’m happy as F about it! Do any of y’all celebrate your divorce anniversary?Divorces come down to two things…time and money. You can always make more money, but time is limited. They are interrelated, and you have to decide which is most important to you now. Some of us have had horrible experiences and have hardened and hopefully learned valuable lessons about ourselves and women. I would encourage anyone going through divorce to talk to a therapist that can help you map out the decisions you made and why they led you to divorce. We all want to know why for everything,… | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/04/22 02:00 PM |
$3.7k a month too much? That’s a lot! Even if it’s not for you. If your spouse can’t work she needs to file for disability. Also, rather than pay her money to sit around…maybe offer to pay her tuition to go back to school and learn how to do something that she can support herself on. Can’t tell you how many women are in the dating pool living off alimony. It’s ridiculous! You’re better off having those kids fulltime. Daycare is going to be $1000-$1200 a month per kid. Hopefully yours are in school. Fight it all the way… | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/04/22 02:43 PM
Joint Car overdue paymentNothing stings more than having to pay money to a woman you got divorced from. The worst! | /r/Divorce_Men | 31/03/22 03:38 PM
Joint Car overdue paymentHad a similar situation after a divorce. Lesson learned guys…don’t put your name on anything with your wife! Anyway…was fortunate that she hit a deer and totaled the vehicle. Her insurance paid the loan off. That was a great day. | /r/Divorce_Men | 31/03/22 03:28 PM
Ex wife making it difficultThis sounds messed up. Not sure what type of judge would approve a parenting plan giving you only four hours a day on a weekend. Definitely petition the court to get a whole day. Whatever it is…kids needs structure and a consistent schedule. Dude, this is the rest of your life you’re looking at…don’t take it lightly or try to do it yourself. Got talk to a lawyer. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/08/21 05:34 PM
Should I get the lawyers involved?Go talk to an attorney. Keep your mouth shut about it. Do not negotiate or discuss with your spouse. You may not think you have anything to lose, but based on what you’ve posted you have significant financial risk. Get all your records together showing what you have paid for during this relationship. Some states allow you to go thru a mediation process to settle everything rather than thru attorneys…this is usually a good option. Good luck! | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/08/21 05:14 PM
