It's interesting to note that the only time I've ever seen the word "Beta" used is by the most "beta" guys ever. Really, I don't think I've ever witnessed a respectable man use that term. Says something doesn't it? :)

Nah. "dick" is far more light (at least in UK, it could be different in other countries). I constantly use the word "dick" in sentences like "Don't be a dick" or "That's just a dick move", without meaning sharp insult.
