Maybe 5 years ago, but I don't think the northface/leggings/uggs is still around. Or at least is much less prominent since I left college.

Now I remember why I stopped coming to this sub. Can someone explain why mods don't remove such low level bait threads?

Most women are with "betas". For now. No reason to think that wouldn't change once it becomes more socially acceptable to have more than one girlfriend. It would also mean women can have more than one boyfriend, so keeping a beta around wouldn't be an issue.

Hillary doesn't believe abortion should have any limits. That means it's possible to get an abortion on the due date, assuming she can find a doctor to perform it.

Reminds me of a couple articles I read a while back about how no one is keeping track of the most basic stats for the WNBA or other women's sports. While men's sports stats goes back decades and covers the most of obscure and minute data points. Article goes over how men's baseball stats got started. It's started because a couple guys wanted the info and found other guys doing the same. Same as other sports. But no one cared enough about the women's sport to bother. The article ends how all thes…

Look at any chart of the gender breakdown of professions. Take away the jobs at one end you can't have a functioning modern civilization. Take away the jobs at the other end, experience a slight societal hiccup, but then continue as usual. Needless to say, men dominate the maintaing and improving part of the chart.

That's exactly what a ONS stand is. Which is slightly different from casual sex as defined by OP. If they go months or even years attempting and failing, then succeeding once, they aren't having casual sex.

I don't doubt they did. But could they on a regular basis? If they continuously fail the 48hr deadline, then according to the OP, they aren't having casual sex. They were just "getting lucky".

From what I've seen, I think your are wrong. But that's not to say your scenario can't become a possibility. I seen many guys put up with nasty behavior from women from fear of being alone. I don't think polyamory will see a drastic rise in the near future, but I can see some less then honorable women use it to string guys along.

And not just 'us-vs-them' in relation to RP-vs-BP. The 'us-vs-them' is RP-vs-all others who have an opposing opinion. Society in general. So they're opposed to any advice that's not in line with what the mods of TRP accept I feel it is quite the opposite. I think this quote about politics applies very nicely to RP vs. BP. "Republicans think Democrats are wrong, Democrats think Republicans are evil" Most RP's will tell you they were quite Blue, but for one reason or another, it didn't work for th…

I don't expect rational discussion with men who demonize women, to be honest. Why are you even in this sub then? This is just further evidence to RP'ers that BP'ers say one thing and mean another. Essentially, "I don't tolerate hate speech...but with certain exceptions. People can say anything that's misandric, against white men, and people who disagree with me."
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/16 04:02 PM

The BP's know how to be human and will be the first generation in history to always be hip and with it. Their children and grandchildren will hold the exact same views as them as they will naturally be raised to the correct amount of humaniness.

That's why I don't like when either side uses celebrities for examples. They are the 0.1% and live in a bubble, a lifestyle unrecognizable to the rest of us. Even the 0.1% CEO billionaires are more relatable to the common man then world famous celebrities.

Such dating sites already exist. Where only women can send initial messages. From what I've read, the same shit happen on other dating sites. The women said a short and incredible plain message to the guy she's attracted to like "Hi" and leave it entirely to the man to pick up and hold the conversation.

I have a nagging feeling sometimes my fellow BPers and some PPers are going to raise sons that either end up turning to PUA/TRP or end up as the TRPs worst case scenario: a Beta Bux for some woman who cares little for them. At least more likely than had their sons been raised by someone unfamiliar with TBP/TRP. In their effort to raise sons that truly believes in and practices gender equality, their will unconsciously pedestalized women in the minds of their sons. To many BPers take a large leap…

But women are entering the relationships with their future husbands when they are 25. Let's be real, at 25 women are nearly just as attractive as 18 or 22. You don't suddenly go from 7 to 5. At worst 7 to 6.5.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/15 05:08 PM
1

But a beta bux is as naive as he was at 16. That's the whole point. He has no clue. He didn't go through the same stuff as the woman. He didn't have affairs that led nowhere or relationships that "just didn't work out" or women who just wanted him for sex. First, I think the BB scenerio describes a miniscule population. Second, the Beta Bux has learned. It may not be from the same experiences that women have gone through, but he is living a life prior to marriage. But a beta bux is as naive as h…

The only metamorphosis is menopause. Menopause starts in the early 50's. So it's not relevant. The other explanation is that women are learning from their experiences like men are. The average marrying age for women is 27, meaning she was likely in the relationship for over a year at least. So women at 25, still very much at their peak of attractiveness, decide to start looking for and marry a Beta Bux?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/15 03:39 PM

Then why are women more likely to stay with a husband who is dying from cancer? Why are men more likely to divorce a dying spouse? It seems TBP could say the same thing. Once a wife is of little utility, the husband leaves for something better.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/15 03:32 PM
1

Because it takes time to learn from your mistakes. Remember that if a women is getting married at 27(the average marrying age), she has likely been in the relationship with that man for 2 years to so. I don't know about you, but I think women are still very much at their peak in attractiveness at 25 as they were 22.

They will never understnand the guys that got 0 sex in high school then college, got a good job, then some girl settles for him when they're both 29. How often does this actually happen though? Certainly not as much as TRP like to say it does. Most people are normal and living their normal mundane lives. The men who got nothing until their 30 are marrying women who have done the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/15 03:22 PM

he's the guy who is the "sensible choice" How is the women he choices to marry not also the sensible choice? He is aging too and looking to settle down. The man to comes to understand that the perfect girl isn't going to come around. So he to makes the sensible choice to marry the girl he's invested some time with. Yes, women do have more of a time clock issue, but that is easily overcome.

men going MGTOW, opting out of marriage and most LTRs You think men are more likely to give up on women entirely, rather then try to fix things? I'm not fond of TRP, but I see it as a more likely outcome then complete resignation.

That's not something I ever have to worry about. I've met many men who went through tough times when dating without coming through the other end holding misogynist views. Not to mention we are moving closer to gender equality every year, meaning there will be even less incentive or need for men to use manipulative tactics.

I just read this excellent point by point breakdown of nearly everything that is wrong with TRP, all without the usual demeaning or shaming language of down on their luck guys typical of TBP or feminists. Much of her focus if on the Heariste brand of PUA/TRP, and how much of his advice is based on flawed logic and, at best, inconclusive scientific papers. A long post, but easily the most conclusive and well worth the read. http://slatestarcodex.com/2014/08/20/ozys-anti-heartiste-faq/

So far, from what you've written, you don't seem to be the odd exception. Perhaps you're riding the low bar people set for you. For example, I almost guarantee even you'd agree a man with your personality would be considered unattractively dull. ad hominem people are nice to women so much because decent human beings should be nice to women Just like they are decent to men.

That's why it's important to get women into STEM and high paying jobs. Then they can help finacally support their husbands if need be.

People are nice to women because they want to fuck them. People are nice to women because they are decent human beings. Not because they have sex on their minds all the time. Funny how men that that don't are often the ones in relationships with women. Even most normal friendships between men and women would evaporate if you took away men's sexual interest in women. My male friends aren't friends with me because they think there's a chance they will have sex with me. I'm sure neither of us would…

There's not even really a choice to be made in my opinion. Glad to hear. I'm sure in just a generation or two, we'll have as many SATDs as SAHMs. When men realize the difficulty raising children is, we'll be one major step closer to equality. Women will be marrying men knowing they won't necessarily be the one putting their career on hold and taking care of their children.

Women are human, just like you. No one is a pure logical creature, thus they process logic through a biased storm of emotion as well.

so that she may deign to have the sex you're so desperate for If they have sex, it's because they both want sex. If one partner doesn't want sex, it shouldn't happen. Work is divided up evenly. Being a first-world modern mom is the easiest job in the world, save for some crappy hours. Easier then living in the third world without electricity? Sure. But you are delusional if you think it's the "easiest job in the world". Asking men to do their fair share is asking to much though, I guess. if the …

Anyway most of those women tend to want to have the hardest job Women and men want to be parents, so it's only only fair the work is split evenly. Being a SAHM for an average of 2 children is usually easier, than the average job. You'll be thinking differently after you have children.

All your points are examples of benevolent sexism. I can somewhat understand TRP reacting to benevolent sexism by going in the opposite direction, but that doesn't help men or women. If they work to fix the root cause, instead of merely practicing another form sexism, we could achieve equality even faster. Yet the general media chooses to advise men on how to not to form unrealistic expectations of women Because 90% of those expectations is thinking that your gf/wife should be cooking and cleani…

Or the fact that women can generally hit a man and that there would be no problem, because who would "hit a girl". That's because of benevolent sexism. Something feminism is fighting against. That being said men generally don't have "white knights" behind them to rescue them or "captain saveahoe". However misguided MRA's may be, that is something I glad they are doing. We both agree that benevolent sexism needs to end.

It's privilege. Let's call it what it is. The difference is power and the fact that women are not in positions of power or influence. I don't need to cite the fact that women are not 50% of all elected officials. Much of the reason behind this is because of this "benevolent sexism" that you call a privilege. I know some MRA's like to say that women only want to get rid of "hostile sexism" and keep "benevolent sexism", but that's not remotely true. Equality can't ever be achieved that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/15 06:40 PM

I would have to answer "listen to women" for all three. I know TRP likes to think that men can only help other men in their situations, but if men truly tried to emphasize with women and understand the perspective they are coming from, they would see much larger benefits then seeing from the male perspective. It's mostly just society telling men, whether in person or in the media, that women are an enigma and unknowable. Men and women are rather straightforward with what they want.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/15 01:14 AM

No, they are just excuses men give post hoc to rationalize why the women they were hitting on rejected them. I.e "It's not my fault, she's just an uppity bitch".
