Ive been in trouble more than once for basically just being friendly towards women in the work place. Any time its your word vs a woman's, you are in trouble unless you can prove it. Thankfully the times I was accused I could actually prove I was being honest and they had wildly exaggerated, but its very stressful. So now im just professional and dont attempt to be friends because its just not worth it.

We had mandatory sexual harassment training this year at my workplace (I'm in the UK) and part of the training covers OTHER people, eg 3rd parties getting offended. That is, you can flirt with someone, they flirt back, but someone else who isnt even involved feels uncomfortable and bang you are in trouble....

Absolutely. We've just had to go through some mandatory sexual harassment training at work and it's unbelievable what can count now in the UK. It even went as far as someone feeling uncomfortable about being asked out on a date, that's now sexual harassment if the other party feels it is.. How is anyone supposed to get into a relationship with risks like that?

Elite own everything but somehow that translates into men/patriarchy when 99% of us do not own everything or indeed in a lot of cases anything.

No thanks. I'm classed as disabled so I am probably not likely to be conscripted unless things are desperate, but its only fair that any politicians who vote for it automatically enroll themselves and their entire families to be first line.

I think that is the one. Where the men looked like they were having a fantastic holiday all working together laughing and having fun and the girls were useless and crying and moaning all the time.

In most jobs in my UK experience attractive women do better than other groups in jobs, unless their boss is a woman who is jealous of their looks and may instead prefer an attractive man. Everyone else is under this level probably more or less based on competency.

I personally have no idea why they felt super hero movies needed to appeal to women. There are tons of romance movies etc that appeal to women that I have no interest in watching, and that is fine, there has to be things for everyone and I don't get upset. However going out of your way to annoy and drive off most of your male customers seems a very stupid way to run a business if your main customers are in fact male.

It was for me, boys were scared of repercussions, where as girls just thought it was funny.

I work at least two or three times as hard as my coworker, in a physical job. Measured by me working physically two or three times the items per shift. 24 to my 39, the catch here is he's also a man. He's just lazy and despite being twice my size and nearly twice my weight seems incapable. My point is it's not limited to just women being physically less capable in the work place. Some guys get away with it too!

I'm probably not his target audience, too old. A lot of what he says is awful. Equally, a lot of what he says is pretty spot on. Like most people, he has both good and bad views on different things. So few people are correct on everything. Its incredibly naive and stupid to assume anything any one person says is always good or bad.

I got told to smile by a senior manager this week at work. I responded that I was unwell and only in because we have deadlines we wouldn't meet if I was absent. Apparently I should have been off sick rather than look miserable at work though! Not the first time I have been told that either, although it is the first time I have been told it in a none customer facing role!

I once had the misfortune of working in a team of seven women as the only man in my first job after university. It was the crudest environment I have ever worked in. Men may have some innuendo in banter but the women I worked with were explicit in talking about general sex, their own sex lives in detail, and belittling their partners. For the most part I was ignored but it wasn't a very pleasant working environment. I actually got on pretty well with the people I worked with on an individual lev…

I'm not remotely religious at all, but it seems to me that the old fashioned no sex before marriage approach probably led to happier people overall. Sure some people are happier while younger now, but ultimately not long term

Its the same strategy employed by the Labour party in the UK. Calling people thick and racist for voting for Brexit, then complaining when these people don't vote for them....

They usually have ridiculously aggressive profiles as well. Because we all know its attractive to demand things of someone you haven't even met yet!

Usually someone else's children too. You are expected to give and give with nothing really in return.

I've worked in all male teams and female teams where I was the only male, making me an honoury female by all accounts. Women are far cruder and more explicit than any men I've worked with. Just my own experiences of course, but it doesn't appear unique.

Men fought the last two world wars, surely its time for feminists to step up and fill in the gender gap and fill all the combat roles this time. With the added bonus of being over 20% cheaper to pay! /s but only a little

I stopped looking at the dating sub stuff because pretty much every piece of advice to men is "to work on yourself" meaning gym but for women it's fine to be as they are and be themselves. Even a single "red flag" has people telling the posters to ditch their partners. Noone is perfect and certainly noone is perfect 24/7. Many women seem to be totally oblivious to how predatory and awful "high value" men can be. Do they really think they are going to be the exception and get the players to settl…

In the work place as far as I've experienced over 20 or so years is the order goes like this. Attractive women > competent men > everyone else

It should be unbelievably easy for Labour to cakewalk any election but they just seem to be blatantly insane with things like this.

I'm fairly sure it was volunteers for at least the start of each war. I'm not defending conscription in any way, I don't think anyone should have to do it, or national service.

I don't think conscription should ever be a thing and I'm likely over the age that would be targeted.

I once dated a woman who told me she wanted to wait to sleep with me, but she was sleeping with other guys because they didn't matter to her as fwb, so somehow in her head that was logical. Got out of dodge quick when I found that out.

Two women I've dated in the past believed this I am sure. One gave up a well paid job to go part time in the same job because "she didn't need to earn as much" when she was in a relationship. The other gave up full time work at one job and changed career to a worse paying one to be closer to home for basically the same reason. Got out of dodge pretty sharpish in both occasions. Im not here to support someone's life style at my expense. If they had lost jobs and had to take worse jobs thats total…

Attractive female candidates have always been the top pick in jobs. I've never understood why people think men are given preferential treatment. I've been involved in job application processes for years and there's always some people on the panel who want to employ women over men, both men and women are guilty of doing this in my experience. For people who believe the wage gap exists (I suspect very few on here but in the wider world there is a lot) with women costing less, you would think they …
