I never had an ounce of hate or bitterness towards my friends and they have mostly all been prettier than me. I thought competition and jealousy between women was just a stereotype... until I started putting the time and effort into my appearance and femininity. My best friend told me I wasn't allowed to be skinnier than her around her boyfriend. Once I was within competition range of my friends their behavior started to change. Really sad eye opening experience for me. I thought they'd be happy…

Agreed. I was going into a doctors office a couple days ago when I smiled at an elderly man who was leaving while I was walking in. He smiled back and said "Hi gal, thank you for that smile!" Men spend their lives helping us out so much that many women have forgotten to just be decent pleasant individuals. To the point where this man thanked me just for smiling.

I do about about an hour 5-6 days a week, more if I've been eating more than usual. Mostly for heart health etc. Sometimes treadmill, sometimes elliptical, and a lot of times just playing outside with my stepson. I pretend we're training to be super heroes or army men haha. Jump rope and roller blading are fun too. I've even done housework in a weighted vest.

Exactly. The typical "crazy chick" is oftentimes just drunk off entitlement and the constant validation she gets from a blue pill world. She pushes men away because what turns her on is a guy who won't be pushed but she's not aware of it. Men move on real quick and feminism tells her "they just couldn't handle her independent strength. Prince Charming is on his way, worry not! Wait until you're 45!"

I coach figure skating and I do Pilates because it gives a longer leaner look. Anyone looking for that "toned in an ultra feminine way" should google figure skating or ballet workouts. I also stretch and do cardio 5 days a week. I'm lucky my gym has a daycare. The hours I coach are 4-7:30am so I'm home before my fiancé leaves for work and right around when my son wakes up most days.

Awesome post and I think it was brave of you to admit to being on medication for mental health. I think women with appropriate treatment for mental health and who try to consistently improve aren't the same as "crazy chicks".

Honestly most men don't care what exact color your nails are or what exact dress you wear just as long as you look polished and not slutty. Yielding as far as looks might mean you don't try the weird colors if he doesn't like them or the short cut if he likes long hair. What works for me a lot of the time is asking for help with things I know he's good at but I'm not. I could struggle to parallel park or open a difficult jar and eventually I would get it right but admitting to him I don't want t…

I think this is a great post that outlines a lot of solid important information as succinctly as possible. I agree with what you've written but I also wanted to add an anecdote from my life for any RP women wondering if they can still meet their goals if the process looks different for them. In my personal experience, I had to show that I could be a good mother and wife before I got proposed to. How you do that is up to you. In general, RP discourages cohabitation, premarital sex, and showing ho…

I had a good boyfriend when I was your age and we broke up because it was a first relationship for us both and we wanted to see if the grass was greener. Truthfully it's really not. I do have a boyfriend I love now but it took years to find another guy I liked enough.

Spend the whole day before he picks you up thinking good thoughts about yourself. Fake it till you make it. It's worked for me before.

We need more guys like you! Thank you, I really needed to hear that I was good enough. Everyone should be free to do what they want but I think gender roles are a good thing. I would work if needed but right now my boyfriend feels good about himself being a provider. I feel good about keeping a peaceful and happy household and doing my best being a mom. We're a team and we're equal.

Thank you for being real with me. I'm 25 soon to be 26 and I feel my value depleting and since I like guys a little older than me, chances of finding a single 30ish guy are small. I posted in amiugly and was rated a 6 or 7 by most people. I can't have any man I want because I'm not anything special in the looks department and honestly, beauty is what men care about most. My mom and friends are telling me he's using me to take care of his kid but he presented himself as a struggling single dad wh…

Maybe you're right. I feel like he is the best I can do. He doesn't like me having much independence, and being dependent on him to be a provider combined with my attachment to his son prettymuch ensures I won't leave. I also think that's why he wants another child. But he's not abusive. I do think I deserve a ring in the near future or I have to move on. I don't want to be dumped when Im 35.

All of this was his idea and all the information I've found here tells me to let him call the shots and to trust his decisions. I won't be having a baby until I'm married. In fact, it says here in one post being a good first mate means being accountable to him and he is not accountable to me. I can't win.

I'm trying to be a good girlfriend and person. I'm not going to hang around forever if he doesn't propose soon. I know his son is not my kid but his biological mother is a heroin addict living god knows where. I stay home because my boyfriend makes more money. I thought I was supposed to do what I'm doing and let him make the decisions. This just proves no matter how good I try to be, I'll never be good enough. What do I do?

My job wasn't making me millions and I have a degree and could easily find another job. I'm helping someone I love. Why are you making fun of me? edit: I also want to add that I'm licensed as a speech language pathologist and I work with my stepson every day as he is a bit behind with his language skills. Every situation is unique and I don't regret my choice.

I did but I'm worried about his son's mother causing trouble. He was really adamant that we get a place together after just 8 months which was odd to me. He hasn't proposed but he talks about us getting married and said he wants another child when the time is right. There are some red flags but I have a backup plan and enough savings to leave quickly should I ever need to. Things did go very quick.
