I'm sick of women complaining about "mental load"the obsession things being done it a certain way (and calling it "weaponised incompetence" when men don't do things "properly") This is a huge pet peeve of mine! I listened to a lady at work go on about how her husband is using weaponized incompetence by not color coordinating the laundry when he folds it or something. She kept complaining that he should care more about her organizational system. I wanted to scream, "maybe it's a you problem because that doesn't even matter that much?? Maybe jus… | /r/MensRights | 31/03/23 09:02 PM
Feminism made her angry and lonelyThis is incredibly sad. Some parts seemed a bit dramatic, but a lot rings true. I know many female friends/acquaintances who have fallen into this trap. | /r/AntiFeminists | 27/07/22 04:46 PM
Ah yes, a cheating wife lied that he is the father and the father is still a posTo be honest, I also read it sarcastically! I think "this is progress hopefully?" would have made the tone clearer. | /r/AntiFeminists | 14/07/22 03:57 PM
What are they advocating for? A ban on air conditioning?Chiming in from a women's perspective! I'm thinking of two things. One is that a woman's basal body temperature drops low during menstruation and it stays that way until ovulation, during which her temperature rises to nourish a potential pregnancy. This is a genuine biological difference and I can see how it affects women in AC-ed work environments. You can also assume that many women nowadays take hormonal birth control and they get no ovulation/temp rising at all. Therefore, it makes no sense… | /r/MensRights | 14/07/22 03:50 PM
Do you like the idea of having more male only spaces such as male only Gyms and would you attend them?My younger sister visited me over the weekend and she showed up with a huge pink suitcase, rose gold accessories, and designer purse. That's what she wants to spend her paycheck on and that's okay. I did jokingly tell her she could buy the plain versions of all her stuff for much much cheaper, but she likes to keep up with the trends way more than me. That's a good point about the pink tax. I think it's one of those "inequality" things that feminists fight against but they don't realize the move… | /r/MensRights | 08/07/22 07:52 PM
Do you like the idea of having more male only spaces such as male only Gyms and would you attend them? This is true! Because women are willing to spend more money on products that are "pink" and look prettier, companies will continue to upcharge. And we buy a lot more products than men. We can always go for cheaper products, but we tend not to want to. | /r/MensRights | 08/07/22 07:30 PM
The current obsession with vasectomies is creepyThank you, I do agree with a lot of your points. Sorry, I forgot to mention the IUD when I talked about birth control. I suppose that is a better equivalent to a vasectomy since it is more permanent. It is not unobtrusive though! The copper IUD triggers heavy period flow (causes the uterine lining to thicken a lot more) and can puncture the uterus in rare cases. It can also cause more painful period cramps, which is why I ultimately decided not to get one. Ultimately, I don't think allowing mode… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 08/07/22 04:34 PM
The current obsession with vasectomies is creepyJust my two cents. I think the push for vasectomies is due to years of women being pressured to take birth control like it's nothing. For example, I remember I heard a woman say that she forced her daughter go on the pill right before college "just in case" anything happened. The hormonal contraceptive pill has significant effects on women's hormones. It makes the woman's body think it's pregnant and there's tons of stories about long-term side effects (e.g. hair fall out, losing libido, picking… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 07/07/22 07:39 PM
I wish feminists would quit using me as an example to attack men.Thank you for sharing your story so candidly. ♥️ It has never made sense to me why feminists think the solution to combat issues that harm women, like rape for example, is to demonize all men and lash out against them. Doesn't it make more sense to celebrate and promote positive masculinity? Why would any man want to listen or change any behaviors if all they hear is a "doom and gloom" tearing down? It certainly doesn't make women feel any better either. I really think so many extreme feminist s… | /r/MensRights | 27/02/22 06:20 PM
The one that got awayA couple of things I want to bring up here! I think a lot of men want to have their life and career in somewhat stable order before pursuing a serious relationship. Since he plans to move to a major city in that country soon, it sounds like he is still figuring out his life and so it makes sense that he does not want to enter into a relationship just yet. The issue might not be you, but rather just where he is in his life stage and his location. He wouldn't want to move back to his hometown and … | /r/RedPillWives | 25/02/22 04:29 PM
Want to be a stay at home wife but.......I think a lot of well-meaning relatives and friends will look for the traditional factors used for "vetting" someone (i.e. stable paying career, good education). While those are important and definitely do give you some information about their character, you will be the one marrying this person so it's important to be mindful of red flags! My advice is to take note of everything : the way he treats others, especially service workers; the way he talks about people, especially exes or women in gen… | /r/RedPillWives | 25/02/22 03:32 PM
