Its not whataboutism. My point is that yes, women do have it easier in terms of finding dates, opportunities for dates, sexual partners and overall attention from the opposite sex. For men, status / fame/ power is attractive in of itself. a quick example, Lewis Capaldi the singer, has dated some very pretty women and has tonnes of women thirsting in his Instagram comments. Well this is basically the equivalent whine from women that they can't get commitment / relationships from the subset of men that they want. They have no shortage of relationship suitors...just a shortage of suitors they're actually attracted to.

Don't agree, because this is very much a generally first -world / Western thing. I live in Europe and the narrative is the same...girls like funny guys, charismatic guys, interesting guys, etc. Yet they are primarily obsessed with "the hot guy".
