I replied to your original comment and you're spot on. Not sure where the split personality of seddit is coming from. Months ago it was all about direct approaches without beating around the bush. While I believe having a variety of openers, both indirect and direct, work best, the main point is having that EQ of the social situation and responding accordingly.

I have no idea how I'm hearing about 3% Man just now, but after your recommendation, I picked up the book and ate up the first 100 pages. Very spot on with what he talks about and helped clarify a lot about my past relationships.

This. I'm surprised the most up voted comments are saying otherwise. I've had way more success telling women "I think you are cute and had to talk to you". Genuine intent, regardless of how beautiful the girl is, is effective. Edit: two things I want to add, follow it up immediately with something of substance, e.g. normal conversation and two, hot girls don't get hit on as often as you guys think.

Just used yelp and 'fashion photographer' as my search term. You'll want someone that has expertise in shooting models. They will help you look your best. Most of them have an online portfolio of their work as well.

This is where I would recommend testing with Google Surveys to get real data back on your photos. Our conventional wisdom would say that the body language isn't strong, but actual testing may prove otherwise.

Great post, I agree with the concept, but how do you deal with certain events (yoga / fitness) where all the different class timings goes against you. I was in two separate yoga studios for the whole of last summer... and met 0 women. Everyone is quiet during practice and in their own zone. Even if I chat someone up after class, I don't see them in a future class, enough to build up a relationship. Same with Cross Fit, did that for a few months, gorgeous girls, but with all the different timings…

Yes! Just finished the book and I still struggle with what I read. I understand a few of the concepts but man it was a tough read. Executing the 'living in the now' part hasn't come to me yet.

It depends on the fraternity and the brothers within it. Some are great and do a lot for not only your college experience, but for the rest of your life in terms of networking. Unfortunately greek life gets a bad rep from one or two houses that do dumb activities, ruining it for the rest of us.
