That same logic applies to men who are serial players yet expect to be treated like kings and princes (as well as marry a woman with significantly less partners than him). The hypocrisy/lack of accountability that some men have is astonishing.

It makes sense that one would have a harder time giving something up (something that one enjoys) than someone who has never tried that thing before. I enjoy fapping because it's convenient and it takes less effort than getting laid; therefore, I will not strive to lose my virginity for now.

The door example you gave seems too simplistic. Some non-virgins could go celibate for extended periods of time, while some couldn't. Ditto for virgins. It makes sense to me that someone who has had sex before and enjoys it would have a harder time giving it up than someone who has never tried it before.
