I thought the topic was more dangerous and underpaid jobs. I think that's what OP's issue is. Garbage collecting, I don't really see the issue. I don't think the idea is to make every job 50/50, but rather ensure there's no "artificial" issues accessing a vocation or industry that's appealing. Pakistan doesn't have any unions or parties who are willing to work for worker safety? I find it hard to believe, but everyone needs to start somewhere. It's not reason not to work towards that goal.
