I used to also be someone that wasn't well attuned with feelings and was basically left brained. I had no game. But I learned both of these things to a significant extent that transformed my dating life (and eventually met my amazing partner!). So that's why I'm trying to hammer in that a growth mindset is important here.

it seems also like you could benefit from working on emotional skills. Learning NVC, going to therapy, and practicing meditation has helped me with those things. I would really say working with a mentor has pushed it to another level, you should pick one you resonate with and trust.

I know some talented coaches that work with men on these issues. PM if you want some names. I sincerely think these things are changeable and can be learned, and it's easy to learn with some help. Books are good too.

probably with some people... who cares though? fwiw, i don't think it's your looks. But our perspective/communication/vibes is HUGE, massive controlling part of how we are perceived by others. i know lots of guys who are very good-looking who struggle with women. conversely i know more average looking or non conventionally attractive guys who are with attractive women, looks help but they are not the make it or break it factor for most. you aren't bad at conversation. practice, read books, get c…
