I broke up with a guy when I was 27 and so was he, after a year cause I knew it wasn’t going anywhere. We had the same friend group and a fairly amicable breakup, so I would see him occasionally. He started dating a 18 year old about a year after me, and surprise, I was the only one in our friend group to call him out on how gross that was. And I was made out to be the bad guy and jealous by the rest of my “friends” (all genders took his side 🙄🙄🙄) I quit hanging out with those LV people and I do…

I have come to the same conclusion. FDS principles are simply a) we don’t work for the patriarchy and b) we don’t accept abuse in any relationship we enter in.

Women are so behind already because patriarchy. Spend that money and time helping women, not men. Men are born at third base already in life. I have tried to barb the builder a man before and all it got me was ptsd and an std

Honestly, what sticks out to me in this post is the desire for children. If you REALLY want kids, start planning to have them now without a man and set a firm date you will have your first with or without a man. I regret that I did not start planning soon enough to have a child of my own with or without a man (I’m 39, still possible biologically, but pregnancy is too risky for me personally imho after 35.) I’m simply to far behind financially and career wise to feel comfortable adding a child to…

Great advice! This makes tons of sense because I assume the only women who would date him are vulnerable and underaged, ie literal children.

That sounds like a crime

Yes! I went to AA for a few years in my 20s and I swear to god the audacity of these 45+ yo broke men with substance abuse issues and bad teeth trying to date/marry me because they had found a higher power. Also PSA 12 step programs are some of the most dysfunctional and patriarchal groups I’ve ever been in

Nah it’s nothing that deep. This man means nothing to her becuase he invented the entire relationship in his head. I doubt he factored into her decision at all besides “god I can get away from that whiny loser who always complains about his wife”

I looked into moissanite engagement rings for a bit because I do love the stone, and I have a beautiful pair of moissanite studs I adore. However, I ultimately decided I was worth a diamond and that’s what I got. So you demand it Queen. I’m so glad I didn’t settle on a $1500 moissanite ring 💍👸🏼

Yes! Thank you for this important point. We don’t have to give men a chance we are not physically attracted to. Me personally, I’ve never cared that much about height, as long as he isn’t more than 3 inches shorter than me. I’ve dated some really cute short men, and my current (seemingly) HV man is 2 inches shorter than me. But I would never judge anyone who won’t date a shorter man. I won’t date men outside my race anymore because of my experience with their baggage/fetishization and cultural m…

Agree with all this. My man is 37 and maybe looks 30. He has extremely fair skin that he takes care of with sunscreen and moisturizer. Even a man that was not taking care of himself would probably still not have deep lines at 36. She just woke up because her brain developed fully. I’m sure she is thinking “why have I tied myself to this borderline pedophile who groomed me as an 18 year old” and doesn’t know how to express that without therapy

Anyone jealous of your pets is a red flag. My s/o adores the cat I brought to the relationship like his own, and she adores him

I don’t know why BDSM is considered so “progressive” and “counter cultural” and “outside the norm” and “kinky”. Men have been abusing and injuring women throughout literally all of human history. If anything, having safe, loving, mutually orgasmic sex is the real progressive kink, since men were literally able to rape and murder women with little repercussion (and still are in many instances) until recently.

I wish I hadn’t dated in my 20s. All the men were trash, and I should Have been focused on my career

That line about having therapist working with sexually aggressive students who are banned from campus but later allowed to return really upset me. Why are these animals given a second chance? Throw the whole man out

The second wife of my NVX husband (I was his third marriage at 30 something, yes I was a pickme 🤡) texts me randomly about once a year and I her (they had a child and I was involved in that child’s life). This post makes me want to reach out to her and see if our experiences were similar…but it’s also been 5 years now since we divorced and I’m not sure if I want to reopen wounds. Thank you for giving me something to ponder.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
