Surely you can conquer the almighty gas station single mom bro 🙏

I mean how people pull off the whole "close the deal on the first date" type of thing. It's possible if you're downtown but if you're not, you'd need very high attraction or to try and have her pivot to her place on the first date. Also struggling with getting the 2nd date conversions due to logistics of the first date - walkable spots to get physical, etc.

I'm always wondering how people pull this off in the suburbs where it's not even walkable to one's house lol

Do you think the hair change was necessary for Japan, and are you fluent in Japanese? I'm looking to go there to date in the future, similar ethic background and haircut and frame(by the time I go anyway) but fluent in Japanese already.

I got all 5 going but I am still a loser with the women bro 🤣🤣 You still need some game, even with plenty of male and female friends and family in your circle.

People advise against things that are in your own best interests. It's called gatekeeping 🤣

Yeah it feels like all the old body positivity shit on social media quickly turned into "fit gamer/anime nerd physique" with what's in my feed 🤣

Everybody I know with a girlfriend did it naturally or through some app like Hinge and went the conventional lucky route. I don't have high extrovert low nerdy friends, though, but they've all managed to keep their fun hobbies and hit the gym hard as well (probably look a lot more attractive than their girlfriends) so I think that's part of the luck.

Bumble has been the worst byfar - I think you need some incredibly high quality pics or something, because the rate of matching is pretty low for me compared to Hinge. I bought it so that maybe I can use it overseas in places where they use Bumble.

I found that the book (or audiobook) The Way Of The Superior Man helped to describe the feminine behavior through metaphors to nature (like a storm) and to the chaotic mind. It also gives you a more spiritual perspective of the whole thing, so you don't try to rationalize why a woman will be satisfied for a year every day and then get upset and suddenly cheat. Or why women don't value your commitment or hard work. It's basically described as women constantly being "in the moment" with their emot…

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQnZO8-s8T0 FightMediocrity has a bunch of summaries on his channel. It's still probably worth checking it out the full books, or looking up some of the top points in any given video he makes. Like in the 7 Habits of Highly Successful People, most of them are pretty self-explanatory, but the the 5th law is pretty nuanced and worth looking up, and the 7th has a bunch of interesting facets.

Honestly though, I don't have that many attachments, and haven't attained much real success yet. I've only recently been starting to grip onto a real purpose in life. A lot of these Enlightened men never discovered a grand life purpose that aligned with their values, or made a lot of money to raise a family and make their parents proud, or pursued status, experience, physical training to get with quality women, or created something profound to actually change the world... I feel like I'd be runn…

Yeah. It's an inevitable process of self-actualization, but experiencing abundance is something I'm aiming for first, before going monk mode. There's something even more satisfying about giving up sex at the point where you can actually get it easily, rather than giving it up before reaching abundance. I've considered going MGTOW and trying to bypass steps of the pyramid, if I'm not doing it with the intention of still upping my SMV and game, it doesn't seem like real self-development. If you cr…

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/60/Maslow's_Hierarchy_of_Needs.svg or http://www.simplypsychology.org/maslow-pyramid.jpg There's a self-actualization principle from Abraham Maslow. Basically, you fill the bottom of the pyramid first (most people do it this way, anyway) and as you satisfy your needs, you look onward towards bigger and better things, because you realize that more of the same tier of the pyramid won't give any deeper fulfillment. You move towards being a creator, a…

It's so bad and cringe, I didn't get really far, as I clearly haven't swallowed the pill yet. In the Rational Male, the first tendency of the AFC is Oneitis. I made a post the situation on an alt account some days back. I basically had to create this Oneitis.txt file because I reached such a low state of mind at the end of my college semester, I spent some time with her and other college club members on a trip, she shared some of my niche interests, and a hobby I only dreamt about doing (singing…

Right. There's always some ulterior motive, especially with loved ones. Of course, we all have the ego that we have to maintain. We keep up appearances, and we give love so that we can receive it or feel like we're a good person and whatnot. People give to charity because of religious beliefs or karma. People like to see their friends and loved ones happy, though. Maybe it goes back to selfishness and the ego, and they say "I feel a bit upset when my friends or loved ones are unhappy, so I want …

Your mom just wants what she thinks is best for me. When I tell her that it's something else, she rolls with it and starts to understand. Despite raising me to be a "nice guy", my mom knows how manipulative women are, and I can talk openly about how other women are manipulative, and about how I don't want to have a cushy marriage like my siblings, even though it'd mean no grandkids for her. She's been respecting my decisions more after reading No More Mr. Nice Guy and applying some of the strate…

I made myself a Oneitis.txt file and compiled it with a bunch of info from TRP posts, and some things I wrote myself. Some useful things for (us) beginners: Law 36: Disdain Things you cannot have: Ignoring them is the best Revenge If a woman is playing hard to get, or is blatantly going silent on you, ignore her. Let her play her petty games. It won't effect you, for you know what you cannot have you shall disdain and ignore. When you've been rejected by your Oneitis, remember The Power of Now (…

when we go back i'll say that i have to focus on work, and will have to rearrange when it's more convenient. You don't even need to say this to her. It'll be more difficult and challenging for you to cut the relationship off cold turkey, and show that you're a man with some priority. You can grow through that pain. Going out of your way to say something like "I have to work now, maybe some other time," or really saying anything besides "Ok." and getting out of there once a girl rejects you, can …

You think she's providing you with so much fun, but you get those high ups followed by the downs because you're covering up something. She's masking your feeling of being incomplete, but only temporarily. I was about to put myself in your exact position, to try and make/keep a female friend of similar interests. The "only" pretty girl I've come across with the same interests as me. Oneitis ensued, judgement became clouded, failed at escalating through text, and lost a good opportunity I made to …

I've had friends tell me all sorts of awful shit. I've offhandedly mentioned TheRedPill and here are literally the reactions I got. "That's a dangerous place." "That place is for mysogonists." "You don't want to be like those guys." I probe further and haven't gotten a single specific detail, and when I sell TheRedPill's actual ideals to them, the type of books on there, the positive mentalities, self-improvement, improving our opportunities and health and whatnot, they're like "Oh, that actuall…

I've intuitively understood OP's perceptions about women on the higher end of the scale being more fucked up, so I've always been aiming lowish with my attempts, and valuing other qualities like the girl actually being interesting. I'm forcing myself now to become more attracted to shallower traits like physical appearance to shift things over. So, a post like this is actually like a dangerous read for me, someone who's new to RP mentality and is trying to develop higher aesthetic standards agai…

Maybe you haven't read some of the recommended books yet. Attracting Women Through Honesty brought this idea home for me. Also, one of the habits from the 7 Habits of Highly Successful People - "Think Win-Win." There's a cool video (series?) on the 7 Habits on YouTube by an awesome YouTuber who abridges self-help books.

I was going to mention Maslow's Hierarchy as well. Sucks you got downvoted. When people get a deep fulfillment through their life purpose, their lower level egotistical needs become less of a priority, and life purpose becomes the fuel for other aspects of life (fitness, relationships, finances) but people would really have you believe that you're going to regret "not having more fun" if you spend your life on something with worldly influence. It wouldn't be as huge a regret as never having any …

edit I clarified my point, added some example, made it more interesting. I think that the "work to live" and "live to work" terms can be kind of confusing, especially if you're of the opinion that your work should not be your life, because you see your life purpose and your career as mutually exclusive. What OP is talking about are people who overwork themselves and spend a lot of time on careers they don't enjoy, and are "living to work" in a misaligned career, which is a disastrous Catch-22 si…

This YouTube comment, "this is literally rape culture. stop assaulting women who are simply trying to do their job. that poor girl was probably too intimidated to say no." I can't even... it sounds almost ironic. Ah, man, hopefully this guys ups his game, we all gotta start somewhere.

Yep, it's like in order to reach the unicorn, you have to devalue it until you don't really need it and then finally get it, but it's become a donkey at that point. It's pretty much undoing a big reason for starting the journey in the first place, but I guess in terms of an LTR you either face reality, stay disillusioned (as long as one can before everything quickly shatters), or be extremely lucky somewhere in between. It seems like by playing the game to the end that you originally sought, you…

The goal is to try to control male sexuality. religion Maybe that was originally the goal, but if you go to nofap, people are talking about TRP-related life progress and self-actualization in combination with reducing nofap. Maybe it's placebo, but the intention is still to remove a dopamine distraction and get out there, become more manly, and take control of their life. I've endlessly heard each side of the argument, and it's probably the easy porn that's not worth it. Here's some of my own pr…
