I think they've gaslit themselves first honestly. Some of the shit I hear said is ridiculous if you spend more than a minute thinking about it but these morons actually seem to believe the shit they say.

Like wise mate. I'm just sitting here listening to the news in my country once again shitting all over men and I realise I'm just tired of it all. I'm past hatred or anger, I'm just done with it all at this point. I don't feel like helping society in any way at this point. It's genuinely exhausting hearing every day how bad I am just for being a man and how I have to do better. I'm just trying to survive here.

I'm not particularly a fan of these manosphere influencers myself. I find most of them to grifters looking to exploit men's fear and anger. I'm also not going to judge Theroux's new documentary as I haven't seen it. That said I find the issue with most of these deep dives is instead of genuinely asking why so many young men might feel angry at society they fall into simply attacking men. Hopefully that's not the case again.

It is funny how hypocritical it all gets when you start to dive deep into these things. For how long have women complained that men objectify them? That men only care about one thing? I swear, I think everything they accuse us of is actually just projection.

Wish some other parties would start giving a damn about men's rights. As it stands though I can't in good conscience vote for any of these people. I'm not a single issue voter and in my opinion the other policies of both reform and restore will destroy the UK as we know it. I'd also rather not have a party funded by musk.

Just mute that place, nothing constructive has ever come from there. It used to be a default and I'd see it's rubbish constantly, but haven't seen anything from it in a long time and I'm much happier for it.

I'm going to be honest, crying isn't a natural reaction for me and I don't think it's because I was indoctrinated into not crying. It's just not a reaction I have, I don't even feel like I need to cry but can't. That said we need to stop pretending that if someone does cry it makes them less of a man. Nothing about my identity as a man comes down to me not crying and I wouldn't judge any man that does cry.

As someone that's worked maintenance in a number of fields I can assure you that you don't even need to turn things off. Without someone there to keep things running a lot of things will crash very quickly.

Not an American and honestly I don't closely follow American politics. Just hear the big things that come up. That said I've heard Bernie Sanders say many things I agree with and honestly I'd probably vote for him if I was American. That said, he's being careful about what he says because it's an objective fact that everything said will be gone over with a fine toothed comb by his own side to ensure he isn't stepping out of line. If he dared to just talk about men's rights without bringing up wo…

I think we do have an issue with misogyny and I wish we didn't. That said I think it's very understandable. We're face with constant lies and hatred from many feminists and I think it's naive to think this won't in turn develop into a great deal of anger for many guys. They regularly pull the biggest load of shit and, especially online, they're often celebrated for it. Stop with the constant hatred, lies and bullshit and I think you'll find that a lot of the anger men feel will begin to naturall…

This is not a thing that commonly happens at all. Rather, historically I'm sure many of us were taught that it was our duty to provide for a family no matter what, wether you had to run yourself into the ground or not. Then there's the idea that if anything goes wrong we're supposed to put ourselves in harms way or even sacrifice ourselves to protect women and children. That what men have been typically taught in the past.

I try not to vote on single issues. I'm in the UK and the Labour party certainly seem to have a thing against men here that needs to be sorted out. That said the right is the Tories and reform etc. I can't speak for another country but the Tories are incompetent idiots and Garage and his little gang are treasonous cunts that will make the UK significantly worse for everyone. The right may not hate men the same way the left does but I genuinely believe they'll make things far worse for us if they…

Agreed. Personally I genuinely can't remember the last time I cried and I'm a fairly reserved person emotionally. People I know sometimes think I'm depressing these things but I'm really not and it's hard to describe that to people. I'm not going to judge any man less of man for being different to me though.

The OP doesn't seem to engage with the comments in these posts either. Best to just ignore. My idea for men's rights has nothing to do with hating on or worrying about what women are up to. I just want to be treated with respect.

Sometimes I genuinely wonder if these people realise they've created a system that many of not most men don't care for. I mean why should we fight and die for nations that don't care about us? Why should we defend people that would never defend us? They've drained the joy from life then expect us to die just because they've told us to.

Of course, we have to start young when it comes to shitting on males. All we ever hear about in the media in my country is about how we have an issue with "violence against women and girls," and how we need to do so muchore to stop it. Never mind men and boys experience just as much, if not more, violence. I'm not saying women and girls don't face violence or we shouldn't try and fix it, we should be trying to fix violence against everybody. Just want them to stop making things like this a gende…

I can't give you a definite answer as I'm not Spanish, so you'd be best hearing from some actual guys living in Spain. That said I'd say this, I'm from the UK and while there are things that really annoy me here, it's not as bad as the internet and some US media makes out. You can speak out about things in real life and there are charities working openly to improve men's rights. Doing things like campaigning for male DV shelters and such. We can only be responsible for ourselves and unfortunately in any group you're going to get assholes that will talk shit. Personally, as a straight guy, I welcome any guy that's willing to talk about the issues men face in life, but then I'd also welcome women that are willing to talk about those issues in good faith.

Straight white guy from the UK myself and I lean left, especially when compared to those from the US. I've always believed society should work for the needs of the people and people should be treated fairly. What many feminists in my country want isn't for everyone to be treated fairly.

Can't speak for the US but I've got both a trade as an Electrician and a degree as an electrical engineer in the UK. Where I am specifically has a cost of living around £1500 a month. As an engineer with my experience average pay for me runs around £45000 a year or about £36000 after tax, so £3000 odd a month. As an electrician the going rate in my area is around £35 an hour or £72000 a year. I think that's around £52000 a year after tax. Pretty big difference and the reason is because there is …

Tale a old as time. Your guys are just saying it out loud. I'm in the UK and, while the NHS is being significantly underfunded and is falling apart, it's been really bad for me as a 30 something man. My parents and female friends are all able to get stuff done, all be it with wait times. Every time I've tried to get an appointment for something I'm told the best they can do is a phone call, then the phone call is them telling me to call them back in 6 weeks if it gets worse.

Honestly, I agree with the commenter, there is a people loneliness epidemic. I think both men and women are very lonely in modern society. Everything online is about anger and decision and it's tearing society apart. The economies of basically every country are shit when it comes to the common people on the ground and a lot of things are being closed down. The loneliness is not just in men's heads at all, I just don't think it's only men. As for the poster, they're a moron that should be ignored…

Your strange hatred towards men isn't healthy and as much as you may think you have a gotcha here you don't. Many of us here don't see this as a zero sum game of us Vs them. I'm more than happy to admit the current system has it's foundation from 0.01% of men that had all the power historically. The vast majority of men have always suffered under these systems having the elite do everything to keep us down since historically men are far more of a threat to their power than women. Of course, nothing applies to 100% of humanity, but I the majority of humanity need it and I'm not advocating for the bullshit of the past were people would have arranged marriages etc. I think a proper loving relationship provides a level of companionship and intimacy that's just isn't present in extended family and friends.

I agree. We know there's a a major male loneliness epidemic, but I genuinely think the same thing is happening with women, even if they'll insist they're fine and don't need men at all. None of the feminists I've met in real life seem to be able to hold a steady relationship. Even the ones that say their lesbians, don't have long term relationships. They can find short term stuff, have open relationships or one night stands, but no real connections. They'll say they don't need a relationship, bu…

You have to wonder what their end goal is here. In a time when the entire world is rearming and looking each country is going to have to defend itself, our governments genius plan is to alienate men? Are the women going to man the front lines? Like fuck they are. Bloody morons lead this country.

This is one of the issues I have in the UK. None of the parties here are particularly generous to men, although labour does tend to be particularly vicious for some reason, but away from that one issue the Tories have been actively dismantling the country and selling off everything to private interests. We need a new party that actually cares about the UK and ALL of the people that live here.

Nope. If it's mandatory it takes all the awkwardness away from getting one. If the woman has not cheated then there's absolutely nothing to worry about, but I can understand why a heavily hormonal person in the moment may feel you're questioning their loyalty if you ask for a paternity test.

I'm sure there's the odd one that's just saying stuff to get karma etc, but I don't think that's the case with most women that comment here in our defense. I think any decent person, male or female has to admit that both sides have things they'd like sorted and we should be trying to empower eachother rather than constantly pulling eachother down. If a woman speaks here in good faith, with a genuine care for the men in her life she's welcome I say.

I don't think it helps to devide things into white men and others. I'm not American, but I am white. My country was colonised by other other white men and my people oppressed, my language destroyed etc. I hold no gratitude for the things done to my people. Trying to generalise people into things like all white men are oppressors or all white men are privileged is part of the problem. I'll have to give it a read, thanks for posting OP. It's just another thing that men are expected to "fix" about ourselves. Women constantly get passes for hormones making them act shitty, but no one gives two fucks about the affects of hormones on men, especially boys going through puberty.

Likewise. I have no hate towards women, but I'm sick of the lack of empathy shown or the double standards etc. Unfortunately I don't think this is changing anytime soon. I think there's going to be a entire generation or two that will grow old without any stable relationship. I'd say many men have already realised this and are resigned to it. Give it a decade or so and women might realise it as well.

Yea, like the other commenter stated, that's not a relationship. It's perfectly natural to worry about eachother in a healthy relationship and have an understanding where your partner is. You won't get a normal answer to on most of Reddit to asking if it's ok as I genuinely don't think most of these people are mentally healthy. The understanding of how a relationship is supposed to work is seriously broken on this website.

No it's not a second language, because the language of my home country was all but wiped out. I can assure you there isn't a single comment anywhere that I've made that even implies that women being raped isn't important. The only view I've taken on rape is the bullshit that many seem to think men can't be raped or if they are it's something to laugh at.

I don't know if English is you second language or not, but you have serious issues with reading. None of my comments even come close to excusing rape on women and I'm sure you couldn't give me a single example. I won't respond to the obvious prejudice though.

Escalate how exactly? It's such a weird thing to say. It reminds me that so many on this platform are literally teenagers or people in the very low 20s. Personally it was my father as he was able to take early retirement. I've also seen a few single parent households with only the father to look after the kids and those men work extremely hard. I've also seen plenty of very caring women. Wish we could move away from this, "I'm better than you," we get from both sides and instead work on making life more fair for everyone.

All the things that get done to men simply for being a man should stop. For instance: -Men in the UK, where I am, can't legally be raped because of the way its defined. -any sexual assault on men is almost always laughed at instead of taken seriously. -men have very few if any shelters to go to when in a DV situation or any other situation that makes them vulnerable. -men often have to go through very long, nasty court battle just to have the right to see their children. -men are incarcerated at…

Also, I'm sorry, but your comment shows me how little you understand on how the world around you keeps running. I think everyone should be more willing to fight against the corporate ghouls that want us to work ourselves to death. I also have no issue with a stay at home parent of any gender, in fact it's often easier as there is someone to take care of the children and the house. That said the conservatives have been in control of the UK for around 15 years and they have drained the entire nation. As another commenter said, the comments in there are telling. I genuinely think the reason so many of these people think women have it worse is simply down to the fact women will talk about the shit Done to them and men won't. Every time a man "trauma dumps" they're laughed at or they end up losing their girlfriend. Women simply don't want to here the trauma of the men in their lives and have convinced themselves their lack of empathy is the same as men having no trauma.

We should recognise international men's day. I can't talk about America not being American I'm afraid. Rights issues are world wild, but I wouldn't expect you to leave your American bubble. I've experienced plenty of prejudice from other groups myself and it feels just the same as some American woman telling me I'm at fault for all the wrongs simply for being a man. It is very much akin to racism. If you see a man and the first thing you think of is, "is he a rapist? Or is he going to hurt me?," then there is zero difference between seeing a black man and thinking he has to be committing a crime. I know the majority of men are good people because of the society we live in in the west. It's amazing how incredibly sexist this thinking is. You say people can't race bait you, but this is the exact same "logic" seen in racism. If someone said, "you can't trust those (insert racial group here), you never know which of them is the good one," you'd be called out for racism, or if you told a black guy, "oh, your one of the good one," again it would be racist. You're taking the actions of a minority of men and applying that to billions of people.

You're arguing in bad faith and honestly seem as angry as the man hating feminists. First of all, the world is a very big place and these issues are global. Agreed, as far as I'm concerned if I, as a man, tried to say that women never had any issues it'd be no different from feminists today saying men have no issues that need fixed. We should acknowledge the wrongs of the past if we want a truly fair society.

The Op makes some very good points and I'd say I agree with him completely. Feminism did have a purpose and I think we should acknowledge that women not being allowed to vote, open a bank account, own property and things like marital rape being allowed ect were all very wrong and needed to be rectified. Trying to make out that men have done nothing wrong ever is no different to me than the feminists today saying all men are privileged and have no issues.

They would escort him because it's supposed to be the job of the police to keep the peace. That means seeing a potential incident and moving to stop it. If that means escorting him through, escorting him back so be it and that option for me would depend on if it's an officially planned event or the sudden blocking of the road. Put simply the police here completely failed allowing this to escalate to violence.

Looks like it was a cop that took him down. I'm assuming that's who the guy in the vest and helmet was? Bullshit they turn up to stop the guy, when they could have come sooner and escorted him through.

It's not much of a loss at all. The sort of women that play these games are extremely toxic people and any relationship with them would be massively detrimental to your mental health. I see this as an absolute win. Edit: thought I'd add another thing I seen to keep the laughs up. Was reading some of these no sex messages on TwoX and one of them said they should go further and emulated the women in Iceland that all went on strike for a day to show how important they are. Obviously doesn't realise…

This bares repeating, we don't want to go down the same road of blind hatred you see from some of these online feminists. I'm not American so, yea, I admit, my experience will be a little different, dealing with a different culture, but If say the same generally applies. I've dealt with really shitty women that did nothing but put me down and be generally nasty people, but likewise, I currently have many female friends that know I believe strongly in improving mens rights and they've been nothin…

Yea, I'll be honest I genuinely feel like a dick with the way I seen Bieber. Never liked him at all growing up, but looking back on all the weird ass interviews and shitty things that happened to him, I feel really bad for him and understand why someone would actually put the way he did. He seems to be in a healthy relationship now and I hope he continues to recover from the bullshit he had to face.

Not once did I mention western men are being forced to go to war, although if and when war does reach the west it's men that will be drafted. That said, your comment was part of a greater conversation about an Afghan woman being given asylum while a Russian man was deported back into Russia where it's very likely he would be forced to fight in a war. We were not talking about western men, we were talking about russian men. I agree that this should not be a gendered issue as all parties that need…

It's something I think we'll see in the UK at sometime in my life. I live here and looking around, the UK is dieing. You look at every section of infrastructure and it's broken, there's not enough money, people or care. I genuinely think, in my lifetime I will see the UK break and when that happens there will be seriously hard times. Hard times do not allow this bullshit to carry on, because, as you say, women refuse to take the jobs that are actually necessary to form a functioning society.

Unfortunately there are a lot of crappy men out there that are abusive and deadbeat etc, just like there are a lot of abusive, deadbeat and crappy women out there. Do they make up the majority of either group? I don't think so. To not acknowledge this, to me, does mens rights a disservice as it makes us no different from the feminists saying that men are always the party at fault.

I suggest not listening to or reading things from morons, especially self hating morons. That said there are many many things wrong with the world. One of the things in my opinion is we, as men, were too good at our job. Like someone in any job that writes a programme or builds something that in turn makes that job obsolete. Our job as men was to protect women and children from the horrors of the world and make sure everyone had the resources to live good lives. Well we built that. I the west at…

The only difference between a terrorist and a violent dictator like Putin is scales of power. Most people aren't saying Afghan women shouldn't be able to escape their persecution, we're saying that men shouldn't be forced to fight in a war they want no part of. The other comment shouldn't have used the term princess treatment as it's wrong to attack people that are just trying to escape persecution. That said it's understandable that so many are angry at the constant double standards our governm…

That's the thing, it's not just rape jokes against men, people genuinely don't take it seriously. Constantly have men made fun of and belittled if they admit to being raped.

I'd say feminism in the past was good for women. Things like not allowing them to open a bank account without a man present, marital rape being legal etc etc are all bullshit and it's right that they are sorted. I'd even say that that sort of feminism still has it's place in many parts of the world where women are genuinely treated as second class citizens. The issue, in my eyes, is feminism in the west. They got what they needed, but instead of stopping there many of these women are simply gree…

Didn't read it all as it was too much bullshit but basically this woman says crosswords used to be made by women and now they are mostly made by men. She says this means that the crosswords are not inclusive as the editors are rejecting crosswords that have words that are too niche. She then goes on to mention a list including things like matcha tea and riotgirl etc. These and other words apparently have their origins in minority cultures and not including them is exclusion of that culture. Appa…

For sure, it's rooted in a deep dislike of men. The thing is though, this person is talking about the chance of pregnancy making the act worse, but what about women that can't have kids, the elderly and kids, guess they just don't matter as much either. Attempting to make a pyramid hierarchy out of SA is insane behaviour.

Had someone write this on a topic about The Boys ep6 and Hughies SA. When I called them out on this the doubled down and went on to say that assault and torture are more harmful to women as well. This site really opens my eyes to how disgusting some of these people are.

As has been the way throughout all of history, it will stop when things get truly bad. It's always been the way, shit hits the fan, everything collapses then men need to come, pick up the pieces and build everything up again. Maybe I'm just sick of only being called on when solutions are needed, but this is genuinely how I see things now.

I feel somewhat sorry for her and a lot of people like her. I've never understood why the idea of family is so hated in the modern world. That all said, I can't help but think they wanted so badly to be treated like men, well now they are being treated like men. The loneliness of being expected to deal with crisis, not being able to break down because you have no one to turn to. Having to provide constantly, sometimes working so much you don't get to see your family. Often feeling unwanted as a …

More left leaning but pretty solidly down the middle. Got a result of pragmatist in that little quiz. Only ever happened once to me when I was in Uni. Guy followed me around and kept asking if he couldn't change my mind and then kept asking for just this or that, all the way down to asking if he could just have a kiss. Was weird to be honest, but didn't feel threatened by the guy at all as I was playing rugby at the time and in very good shape. Vast majority of gay guys I've met have been great guys though, no different from my straight friends in my interactions with them.

Wise up mate. I can criticise women perfectly fine without declaring all women to be the enemy. The fact you don't see you're exactly the same as the feminists when they say all men are rapists or kill all men is ironic. People like you are the exact reason so many don't take MRA seriously and declare it simply a hate movement.

They'd react badly, but why does that mean we have to adopt the same attitude. I've read many comments on here that rival the most hate filled comments on feminist subs and it's just as wrong here as it is there. I agree wholeheartedly with OP.

I fully understand what you mean and the fact we have to live with the possibility of a draft while they never have to worry about it is unfair. It's especially bad with the ones that will try to shame you into going to war. That said if I'm forced to the front line, I'll be honest, I'm not sure I'd want a woman beside me. Will she be capable of doing things like loading ammo fast enough, or dragging injured or will she slow me down at the worst time? Etc etc. It may seem heartless but if I'm th…

I wasn't aware that people were trying to say that more women died before it became a rule. As a young, fully able man I'd feel genuinely bad about escaping a situation at the cost of someone else. Call that what you will, perhaps it's just because of what I've been told is expected of me my entire life, but I'm pretty sure that attitude has been pretty universal through all of history amongst men.

Listen to yourself mate, you sound fucking unhinged. I'm a man living the UK. I've previously lived in Canada and the US, I've been cheat on and treated like shit by women in the past. I acknowledge there are issues that need fixing, but those things will be fixed by understanding, empathy and communication, not by going on an insane rant like you did. Your writing whamen in stead of women, and while I don't know what that's about I'm sure it's meant as an insult. You thought I was a woman just …

Do people like you just not interact with women in real life, do you have no female friends or sisters or mums? It's like you base your entire view of women off of sensationalist news articles or something. Yes there are women that act like "fragile teenagers," just as there are men that do exactly the same thing. You get assholes in every walk of life and news articles in every country are designed to cause controversy and outrage. What you're doing is exactly the same as when some feminists sa…
