I see nothing wrong with wearing sneakers to a club if you can get in with them. You know, you might want to wear them because you actually plan on doing a lot of dancing.

I've dated strippers. They're not that bad for the most part. They do want your money though, but you don't have to go broke over it if you're smart.

Um, you're the one who mentioned variance in the first place. My assertion is that even knowing the average woman's minimum threshold is not very helpful since women's variance is very high when it comes to looks. Do you not get that? The sublte point I am trying to make about diminishing returns is lost on you. Reread my original comment. Your assertion is also that you are only slightly better off being a 9-10 than a 3-4 which is obviously false. You're not arguing for evolution. You're arguin…

Women's variance is much higher when it comes to looks. I don't think you know how diminishing returns work. Using evolutionary theory to justify things is all cool and all, but like most theories in the evolutionary fields, like, that's just your opinion man. Premise 1: There is a minimum threshold for physical attractiveness. Obviously true and nothing new. Premise 2: Looks have diminishing returns as soon as you are above that threshold. Obviously false. Also, you provide no evidence to back …

The same way single men live in NYC. They have jobs. Manhattan is expensive to live in but the outer boroughs generally aren't. NYC is too expensive for most single people so they all pretty much have roommates, men and women included, unless you have a 5% job.

You're making a lot of inferences from the piece. I am not saying that you're wrong about the situation; however, I am saying that a lot of what you are saying is unfounded or not corroborated in the text of the article. We actually know next to nothing about the husband. For all we know, based on the article, he could be an alpha and she's just crazy. Also, a biological need to mate with an alpha is hardly a legitimate reason to cheat on a husband, especially after she is past reproductive age.

Well, it was also a very popular thread on 2X with over 300 comments (which is somewhat rare). I posted it here in order to get the opinion of the other half. And yes, I subscribe to both even though I am not single.

He just came out with a new one. I don't remember the name off-hand but I saw it on a shelf at B&N last week.

To be fair, if the guys here were approached often by women, they probably wouldn't need to be here. /r/seduction is not a random sampling of the population, it is a self selected one for men who are trying to learn how to meet women.

This happened to me years ago. My friend opened a two-set at a club and I was flying wing for him. He walked up to them to say something and before he even got next to them, they literally waved him off without saying a word.

I got into an argument with a female friend of mine when I tried explaining to her why this was wrong. She grabbed some guys hat and threw it to try to "flirt" with him and couldn't figure out why he got pissed off instead.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
