| 1 | Another false #metoo, but this time it ends in death.Well, I had a similar encounter with this guy, he made an interjecting statement in the middle of an argument, then continued to post things that were supposed to be arguments, but were really just shallow red herrings, just like some of the posts he put here. | -1 | Another false #metoo, but this time it ends in death.Yes, the fact that a false accusation can ruin a person's life before there is any sort of legal validation is a problem. It is a serious issue. Obtaining justice through the system is the only way, I agree. However, victims of sexual violence throughout history and today have good reason to not have faith in the system. | -5 | Another false #metoo, but this time it ends in death.I think that he was just trying to say that the way the discussion is happening, it's making it seem like false rape accusations are the important issue in this country, when realistically, true rape accusations are most certainly the vast majority. Any false conviction of any crime is a miscarriage of justice, but the way the conversation is going here makes it seem like the pandemic of false rape accusations outweighs the pandemic of rape, which is obviously not the case. | /r/MensRights | 11/05/19 06:33 AM |
