It really depends on your teachers. One of mine was such an efficient teacher that he was able to get the daily curriculum out of the way in a few minutes. He'd spend the rest of the block teaching us whatever he decided was worth knowing. He'd tell wild eccentric stories from his years backpacking in Europe and Asia. He taught us basic personal finance skills and how the global economy works. Explained the shady history behind international relations and the imperialistic war on terror. He gave…

It would be battery. Common misconception, assault is threatening someone. You're right though, if it'd been a man he'd be in the cage for a while and he definitely wouldn't ever be teaching kids again. I guess I'm just sexist as fuck. Growing up most female teachers I had were crap. They lacked the passion and leadership needed to hold the attention of the classroom. So when we got out of control they'd either have a nervous breakdown or bribe us with candy/movies. Either way, I rarely learned …

Yeah apparently I was being sexist for pointing out that the boy(who was big for his age) obviously had an advantage over a girl who's hands were barely large enough to grasp the basketball. I couldn't understand it either. I argued with her all the way down. She wrote me up, quoted a bunch of made up things I didn't even say, then told me to get it signed by my parents. I had to stay in solitary at the office until I brought it back signed. I was extremely pissed off by this injustice. So while…

Canadian here. I remember in elementary school I was dragged to the office for saying my buddy was going to win a game of 1v1 basketball. He was playing against a girl barely half his size. My fat whale of a teacher must have been having a bad day because she dragged nine-year-old me down the hall by my ear.

Fuck off with that victim mentality. It may be very hard for you but that doesn't make it a universal law. You either aren't opening enough girls or you're awful at talking to people. My roommate is a 5'6 jacked Indian dude who brings home babes on a nearly daily basis. This whole post is just you making excuses and rationalizing your failure. You sound like you're fresh out of a high school and still blaming society for all your shortcomings. You have an intense "poor me" attitude so I'm sure e…

It only takes 28 days of consistency to create a habit out of a behavior. After that, it becomes a part of your thought patterns. A physical neuro-network that will continue to strengthen and grow almost automatically, unless you interrupt the pattern of behavior.

Absolutely. Social skills are the same as any other skill, you can improve it with practice. Put yourself into situations where you are forced to adapt. Go somewhere with lots of people, and go alone. You'll notice how quickly you start feeling compelled to talk to everyone you see. Humans are social animals by nature. We are all extroverted but some people train themselves to repress it out of fear, then wonder why they feel so sad all the time. Realize that introversion is just a myth made up …

Not really. You're just hanging out with stupid people. Our species has no shortage of stupid women and stupid men. Dumb, emotionally driven morons make up the overwhelming majority of us. That's why our society "functions" in the way that it does, we are getting exactly what we collectively deserve.

You're definitely getting there man. Quitting videogames is one of the best decisions I've ever made. That false reality is like a drug, it hijacks the masculine competitive nature. You get dopamine and adrenaline, you crush your enemies and feel powerful. But in reality all you did was press buttons better than the other guy, or got the drop on him while he was licking cheetos dust off his fingers. Videogames are probably okay for increasing reaction time and split second decision making, but y…

Yes. Read books, lift, get some hobbies. But still, I don't believe anyone is "naturally boring" if they're honest. Conversation is an exchange of ideas so if you aren't honest about your ideas then the conversation cannot flow. That's why people like to bond over drinks, it makes you speak without filtering yourself as much. Drunk words are sober thoughts. As a result, the conversation flows easier. To an extent. Realize people won't hate you for speaking your mind, even if they disagree with w…

Seriously fuck this place. If the oil patch ever stops making me tons of money, I'm gonna get the fuck out of here and move to the states. Or is it just as bad there?

How did some chick strong-arm you out of the room? Is she some 6'3" 260lb amazonian on high doses of HGH? Seriously man, just say "I'll meet you there later" or "No.". Don't let girls treat you like that. There is no way J has any respect for you if let her get away with that shit. I'd cut contact, bitch sounds crazy and she totally emasculated you. She might as well have walked up and castrated you right then and there.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
