Was contacted by another of her male "friends" who she apparently made a bitter enemy out of in the last month. Apparently matters are much worse than I thought. She is regularly using drugs and has an endless stream of men coming through her life. He went so far as to give me the address where my daughter was staying and offered to happily serve her. Next stop lawyers office.

There's no custody agreement unfortunately. I was an idiot and failed to get one because I never thought that she would do this. Apparently I could have done the same thing she did and it would have been perfectly legal if not morally despicable.

Since there is no custody agreement it's technically not abduction. I was told that I could have done the same thing. Being a man in Ontario I find that hard to believe but that is what has been said.

Contacted the police. Got what sounded like a pre written statement saying "this is not the first time today I've heard this, I know it sucks but there's nothing I can do." Pulled myself out of my depression recently and I have an appointment with my lawyer tomorrow. I've tracked down her address and have people out there who are willing to serve her. She's apparently made a lot of enemies. I'm stunned by it honestly. Edit: Words

Our family justice system, at least in Ontario, is so awfully biased against men most of us don't even bother anymore. Maybe that's why they make it so humiliating

"Laugh in my face" was a turn of phrase. It meant "didn't treat my issue any more seriously than a parking ticket." It sounded like a pre written response that was less than helpful. Sorry that I didn't make that clear. Edit: word

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
