The question is if they manage to get men to watch them play, are they prepared to be verbally abused similar to the male players?

I think many men would not have the same conviction as our great grandfathers or grandfathers did back then where they fought for their spouses and/or loved ones When WW3 starts, I hope to be on a small boat sipping a cup of hot coffee fishing while minding my own business.

As an unmarried SEA guy, 42. I came from a low income family and busted my balls to reach where I'm at today. All thanks to my elderly mother. She worked herself hard to raise 3 children; 2 girls and myself (Dad died in his early 50s). In my youth, we were always reminded that academics is the stepping stone to get ourselves out of poverty. Hence, I took up a trade skill of my choice which will always be in demand. We were always free to choose our own careers. Upon graduation with a Diploma, I …

Seriously I do not give a flying fart in space with what any research or survey has to say about lonely men. All I know is when I finally hit my retirement age, it would be just me, a boat and the sea and some quality bass or tuna to fight with.

So what does this lady want from us men? Empathy? I gave away the empathy cake ages ago.

The problem men face is that they lose out on 2 years of this ladder due to their military service. This of course puts women, who do not have to serve, ahead by 2 years by default. According to a certain minister, it is a privilege /facepalm.

In Singapore, we too are conscripted for the mandatory 2 years upon reaching 18 years old and put on reserved/standby until the age of 40. Like yourself, the conscripted army are also paid low wages and whenever requests were made to increase the salary, it was always met with opposition. A female minister even passed a snide remark on the issue.

I came from a poor family so the best option was picking up a trade skill. And now after 9 years in my industry I am earning as much as a degree holder if not more. I could go for a degree but they are very expensive take up even if I take part time.

I have read the article on this incident previously. In it the lady(victim) blamed the 2 men who saw it all and did nothing.

Mandatory 2 years conscription for males with additional training to be follow up for the next 10yrs upon completion of the first 2 years. As a result of this forced conscription, males tend to fall behind in their studies and work.

I would suggest you let her family know that the two of you aren't officially dating anymore and move on. Also be clear to her family and her as well that you will not get back together the minute that youtuber has had enough of her as well.
