You realize children can and do die from this "non-invasive" procedure? Only indirectly, which makes it seem more like malpractice. While there is a chance of malpractice in every surgery, there is a greater chance of being in a car accident on your way home from the hospital, so fear of malpractice is just another flawed argument against the procedure. It stores germs and if you ever catch cholera (or dysentery or similar) it will flood your digestive system with these germs in attempt to help you recover. Beards used to help prevent infections from developing around your mouth based on the questionable things people ingested, but now whether or not someone has a beard is based on cosmetic preference (or religious beliefs).
