Gendered ice cream :-/I suspect their marketing is quite adept, as the gender normality here is often palpable. "Manly" folk drink pre-mixed bourbon and cola in place of beer (the irony is profound) and eat mammoth products. | /r/MensRights | 09/08/12 08:46 PM
Gendered ice cream :-/Exactly. My point, I guess, is that this sort of strange overt propagation of gender roles is bad for everyone; enough with this mens rights vs. feminism bs. Another gendered term; rapist. Another? Nurse. Gender normality is a pretty big issue, regardless of whether one chooses to subscribe to their normative gender role. There will always be stigma attached to gender roles, which are detrimental to both men and women. | /r/MensRights | 09/08/12 08:43 PM
Gendered ice cream :-/That's disturbingly narrow-minded. | /r/MensRights | 09/08/12 08:40 PM
Gendered ice cream :-/Blue, but what's done is done :-[ | /r/MensRights | 09/08/12 10:18 AM
Gendered ice cream :-/So, my default choice of bubblegum is... not the manliest? Ouch, right in the manly. | /r/MensRights | 09/08/12 09:38 AM
Gendered ice cream :-/Overt heterosexism is fairly rampant over here in New Zealand. At least, compared to Canada (home country). I'm standing in my kitchen, in my underwear, eating ice cream; the last thing I want to be accosted by (apart from perhaps some leery flatmates) is sexist ice cream. The label specifically told me that men do not a) get their hair done at the same place as their wives, and b) EVER share an umbrella with another man. Why, ice cream, why :( | /r/MensRights | 09/08/12 09:20 AM
