It's basically a worst case scenario of modern dating. It's definitely not the norm. Hooking definitely isn't the norm. It's more open than it used to be, but that shit isn't mainstream

Most of this stuff is only true for trashy people

A lot of people are starting to catch on to the economic scam that is the Olympics. I bet they change drastically in the next 30 years
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/18 10:11 PM

That's true, BUT I think men's experiences are weighted incorrectly. Men don't have as many dating opportunities as women, so if you date 2 or 3 crazy women it'll skew your perception of women because you don't have enough romanitc encounters with stable women to counterbalance that perception. Women can date 2 or 3 crazy guys and have several romantic encounters with stable men in a short period of time and have their faith in humanity restored

I'm going to guess that you don't have much dating experience, and the opposite sex would describe you as "thirsty"
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/18 01:12 PM

I think that's a somewhat accurate assessment, but I also think it's just life lessons being passed down from older men

Honestly, I think most young guys should go visit a high end escort. I think it would help young guys take pussy off of the pedestal, and make the dating world a lot happier for everyone involved.

Also, people are in way worse physical shape these days. That has to account for a sizeable portion of the population not getting laid.

After dating her I discovered what avoidant attachment was. Divorced twice by 28. $200,000 in credit card debt. Still getting dumb tattoos in her 30's. Confused about her sexuality. Doesn't like intimacy. Has traveled the world but doesn't have any interesting insights. On her phone 24/7. Gossips constantly. Turned her beta orbiter ex into her bff so she can use him to get access to the best restaurants in the world. Sex with her is like fucking an awkward prostitute. Shes basically dead inside.…

Looks matter to everyone. There are way more attractive women with average looking guys than vice versa. But that's probably due to the average girl being more attractive than the average guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/18 09:05 PM
1

A lot of RP advice about women is an exaggeration of reality. I think the best thing to come from RP is knowledge that you're not special and you need to work hard to reach your potential. Mostly, I think RP focuses on women too much because once you start to reach your potential, the advice barely applies to you anymore
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/18 08:46 PM

No, it's been a common trope for decades. The bad boy/bad bitch are the people you fuck, not the people you LTR or have kids with.

It's all kinda weird to me. Anecdotally, I've tried dating younger girls and they've all been mostly unfulfilling experiences. 🤷🏻‍♂️
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/18 08:16 PM

Most RP wisdom is geared towards getting young trashy women and bar skanks. TRP has a lot of low value men complaining about low value women.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/18 08:06 PM
1

Nah, that's moving the goal posts. TRP is always going on about girls with low N counts and virgins being the ideal.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/18 07:59 PM
1

As a guy I find myself trying to delay sex when I start dating someone. It creates too many false emotions for everyone involved and it gets in the way of making a clear headed assessment of the other person. I treat most people as an equal unless they give me a reason not to.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/18 07:56 PM
1

I never understood the obsession with virgins. After a certain age it just becomes weird. Like, if I met a 30 year old woman who was a virgin, I'd immediately think something was wrong with her.

Ehh, I think makeup is weird. I think most guys with experience have seen their significant other without makeup. It's not a big deal.

Who the fuck said that? I'm a 6',2" 240lb man. If anyone is getting a rape accusation thrown at them, it's probably going to be me.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/18 07:13 PM
1

Who cares? Most women hit the wall at 30 and become invisible after 35 anyway. Stop all the handwringing about what young sluts like, and Just focus on reaching your potential. Everything else will fall into place.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/18 07:05 PM
1

Maybe some skanky bar sluts in major cities, but this is definitely not the norm. Only the most broken skanks have N counts approaching triple digits.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/18 06:42 PM

This was really interesting. I've often wondered what would happen to the gay community as it went mainstream. What do you think the new counterculture is? I've heard conservative commentators claim they are the new counterculture, and while I think they have some valid points, it seems a bit like wishful thinking to me.

N count matters, but only so much. Being in your 30's and wanting a virgin is weird. But banging 100 different people is also weird.

Most RP rules are exaggerations of the truth
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/18 05:20 AM
1

In general, I think a lot of RP tropes are slanted toward younger and trashy women. AF/BB applies to men as well. You fuck the smoking hot girl from the club, you don't wife her up. Basically, a lot of the things we find attractive in our 20's become giant red flags in your 30's

I don't mean to be a jerk, but if you think getting engaged after three months of dating is something rational people do, you're probably very young or very naive.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/18 12:20 AM

I think her getting engaged three months after breaking up with Tom is definitely a "wtf?!" moment. Especially after all her BS about not believing in love. If you had a friend who got engaged after 3 months, you'd become very concerned for their mental health.

I'm a guy, but here is my take: It's a movie about two young people who haven't quite figured out how to establish and respect boundaries in a healthy way. They are both pretty bad. He creates an idea of what he wants his partner to be like and then he falls in love with that illusion. She sends mixed signals by accepting all of his attention and half-heartedly goes through the motions of a relationship with the occasional protest. She breaks up with him and then randomly get married to someone …

This is what confuses me about TRP. Isn't it kind of expected for young college age people to be wild and retarded? Why is this so terrible? Also, guys have been trying to turn chicks into whores for at LEAST the last 30 years. Now that it's happened, we're upset about that? We won. Just don't wife these sloots up and you'll be ok. Besides, when did marriage become so sought after for men? I know Jordan Peterson paints marriage as some Leave It to Beaver fantasy, but that's the exception not the…

When I was 18 I was sleeping with/kind of dating a 30 year old chick. Even at that age I had a sense that she was fucked up for wanting to be with someone so young. Older chicks are weird
/r/TheRedPill21/08/18 09:42 AM

Yeah, but in reality 22 year old girls with 40 year old men are usually really fucked up. The older you get, the less you want to out up with a crazy chick.

This sounds like pure basement dweller fanfic to me. In real life, acting like the "alpha" guy in this story will make people think you're weird. High SMV women won't fall for this. Especially not the "alpha" females.

This sub gets really weird about the virgin thing. Once I hit the age of 16, I never even considered if someone was a virgin or not. If I ever met an adult who claimed they were a virgin, I would automatically assume they had some mental or emotional health issues. When the guys in this sub claim they want a virgin, I assume they are virgins themselves, or simply don't have much experience with women.
