Right on man! There is alot of pleasure to be had in building something with your hands. I looked into software development for myself as a career but I've always been so high strung sitting for prolonged periods of time didn't seem like something I could do or would want to do rather. So I chose a path where I could work and keep moving.

I'm still finishing up my certificates broskies, I finish school this may and then I'll either go pipe lines or under water welding. Probably CDA I've heard good things about them and I like the adventure aspect. As far as money goes you can make 14 an hour straight out the gate. And depending on where you go and what your willing to do you can make great money. My buddy did pipe lines in texas and made 50 some odd bucks an hour.
